Hare and Hounds in Chichester

Lovely location and excellent service let down by quality of food on this occasion. The 'home pressed' burger had no seasoning and literally tasted like a lump of cooked mince. The eton mess was strawberries and far to much cream with the odd sliver of meringue. Very disappointing.

Lovely location with very welcoming and helpful staff. Traditional menu executed perfectly. Highly recommended. Can vouch for ‘pie of the day’ (chicken & mushroom), ham+egg+chips, basque cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding! Great selection of real ales

Two families plus dogs were warmly and expertly welcomed and served quite outstanding food for a reasonable price in a lovely setting. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Always lovely, been coming here for a number of years and it's still a great place to eat.

Clearly not a place to stop if your mountain biking, a group of 6 of us had stopped mid ride for a coffee and some lunch (had already ridden 23 miles) the lady serving in the garden was friendly and done her best to accommodate us as they was close to fully booked, she had sorted us a table for 45 mins we ordered coffees and we waiting for the kitchen to open to order food but while we was waiting and drinking our coffees a guy rocked up (guessing it was the manager) who very rudely told we had to move our bikes from the carpark as he had paying customers coming.we had left them in the car park due to the garden being fully booked so didn't want to over load the place with bicycles, there was no where else to put them.we payed for a drinks and promptly left to find some else to re fuel ourselves. It was such a shame being made to feel unwanted at this place as it looks lovely and the food did smell good but now we will never actually know.

Had a wonderful lunch rounded off with a very yummy sweet, all washed down with a refreshing pint of fine local ale. An excellent job done by the kitchen added to the perfect pub lunch, wish I lived locally.

Used to frequent this pub as a child with my father. Thought I'd take a trip down memory lane! Sort of how I remembered it as never went inside (children weren't allowed inside in those days lol) but outside is a lovely paved garden with plenty of comfortable seating. Very dog friendly.Food was amazing!
