Well they are popular as people were queuing outside, but we were disappointed. The wait is long - around 30min to get the food. We got 2x medium cod and some cheese burgers. Would NOT recommend any of that. Cod portion was TINY, the fish was dry and no seasoning at all, so really disappointed. Chips were OK, way underseasonned, but quite chunky and fried in fresh oil and that's the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars, as otherwise wouldn't give any. Burgers awful π π± π¨ just bun with some meat and a slice of cheese that wasn't even melted. Not a single piece of salad with it and it looked disgusting. We were really hungry as all food shops were shut between 2pm and 5pm and then the wait to get it, so ended up eating it, but never again.

Greasy ,, small fish is very small , chips standard , ask for salt and vinegar none , for 49 min queue ,

If you like your pie soggy and reheated in a microwave served with barely cooked chips you will love this place. Don't get me started on the foul savaloys. Inedible - straight in the bin. Otherwise we loved it.

Best Fish and Chips I have had. Service excellent and choice is wide. All my food was cooked fresh, and it was not greasy in any way.

Very friendly service, the food was yummy and, freshly cooked 5 mins before closing, many thanks we will certainly return and recommend.

Excellent food at a great price, even on a cold Tuesday night in January they were really friendly. Definitely coming back!

We stopped off at Mobyβs to get haddock and small portion chips x4 today to take to our friends who live locally and recommended it. Best fish and chips Iβve had in a long, long time. The small portion of chips is still huge. The chips were crunchy on the outside and soft fluffy inside. The fish was fresh, the batter crisp and all non-greasy. Highly recommended.

One of only a few fish and chip shops that I would recommend. Decent size portion quality fish, well cooked hardly any oil residue in the wrappings when finished. A short walk from the sea front car park.
