Had a lovely stay at Moonlight Cottage as part of our SDW weekend walk. The cottage was the best b&b accomodation I've stayed at in terms of comfort and small details that really make an impression. Bev was extremely friendly and welcoming and the breakfast basket provided was delicious! Would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone!

Having followed the renovations of Moonlight Cottage we couldn’t wait to book our stay- it definitely lived up to the beautiful pictures. It is stunning and pure luxury at an affordable price. The entire guest house is spotless, the beds really are like sleeping on a cloud and the bath was a perfect treat after a long day!We felt very welcome and the owners are extremely accommodating- thinking of every detail, providing delicious food in beautiful surroundings. So much more than a place to sleep- you won’t want to leave! Can’t recommend highly enough!

We recently stayed at the beautiful and newly refurbished Moonlight Cottage. As a family of 4 we were able to reserve the Bosworth Suite which provided us with 2 double bedrooms and ensuite bathroom within a separate section of the cottage. The rooms were gorgeous and the beds incredibly comfortable. There is a lovely garden to the front of the cottage and court yard to the rear with seating areas to relax or have a drink in.The Moonlight Cottage was perfectly located for us to visit Cowdry Park, Goodwood Racecourse & Motor Circuit as well as a trip to the beach before the end of the school summer holidays. Breakfast provided is continental style with freshly baked (still warm) pastries, toast, cereals, fresh fruit, berries & yoghurts. There is also a selection of snacks, drinks (including beer, wine & spirits) available to purchase as well as packed lunches. We were made to feel very welcome and loved it so much that we can't wait to come back. I couldn't recommend the Moonlight Cottage highly enough to anyone looking to stay in this area.

We stopped off here on our way from Winchester to Eastbourne by bike. The food, service and setting we were brilliant. The owners made us feel so welcome, it was a real highlight of the day.

We arrived as 2 soaked and filthy cyclists in need of shelter and we couldn’t have had a warmer welcome. The soup was substantial and delicious, the bread freshly warmed. We were then lent tools to get us back on the road.

Really well cooked breakfast (in two different sizes). Friendly owners and really cute decorations. One of the best soya lattes I've had. (And you get the feeling you are part of the village as locals come in for a cup and a gossip!)

Cosy, lovely little bnb. My single room was quirky and warm so I felt v comfortable. Slept well and enjoyed tasty eggs for breakfast. Plus my cheese and marmite sandwich ordered for my lunch was great on a long stretch of the walk.... A recommended good stop on the South downs way.

Found this place on the internet. Took my Mum there. She wanted a cream tea. We sat in the garden which was pleasant. We had 'high tea' which was tea with cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon sandwiches, home made scones, clotted cream, jam and then a home made cake to follow. Very lovely and very filling. My Mum enjoyed it immensely. The service was friendly with smiles all round. Worth a repeat.
