Old Cross in Chichester

Came in for a quiet pint was warmly welcomed by the staff and I wasn't eating but the food looked fantastic. I will definitely be back here soon for food and karaoke. Great place to drink and eat in Chichester

Standard pub food, but it was really tasty. Arrived quickly too, which was good as we were going to the theatre. Quite noisy inside, but great to see people out and about again. Our menu didn't have the calories printed on it, which I understood Was The law now. Anyway, food was tasty.

Good selection of tasty food, reasonably priced. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic lunch with my wife for our first trip away without the kids in a while. Really lovely staff, helpful and friendly. Welcoming atmosphere and comfortable seats. We ate 3 starters - when ordering we were informed that they had run out of one of the components for one of the starters and were offered a number of replacements if we still wanted that menu choice which we happily accepted. Food came out hot and was delicious. Lovely start to our mini break

A more traditional style pub but suitable for all. We loved access to board games while we had some lovely food and a drink. We went on a Wednesday evening which is a night lots of uni students are about but they don't bother ordinary customers (maybe a bit of colourful language)

Loveliest Staff! Really great food, everyone was so kind and helpful and really went above and beyond. It’s the little things that make you want to go back to a place and they definitely nailed it! Thank you

The food took just over an hour from ordering to being served and the food was poor. Half of the orders were missing items.One of the orders had chilli in the rice but this was not stated on the menu. It was lucky that the person did not have allergies.Would not recommend eating there.

Fantastic food, really very nice friendly staff, a nice little public house. Not expensive, the food was hot and very tasty. This is a great place place to have alcohol, coffee or a meal. The Old cross is now my place to go to eat in. It beats Weatherspoons hands down.

We were visiting Chichester for a wedding & came across this wonderful pub in the high street & really glad we did as the staff were excellent & really friendly, good selection of beer etc & food was great too! Would definitely recommend & visit again when we are back.

Lovely traditional pub in the heart of Chichester. They have a lovely selection of beer and wine with all the classics. The pub was clean and tidy with a lovely decoration. Finally the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back next time 😉
