Amazing food and a great atmosphere ran by two amazing friendly people. Couldn't ask for a better pub.

Nice food at a good price.

Good beer, good basic pub grub would definitely eat and drink here again, bar and kitchen staff very friendly, many other establishments could learn something from here. Reasonable prices. Dog friendly a definite asset. Parking limited but if you are walking not an issue then.

Good pint of Guinness and scampi fries 👍

I occasionally visit this nice little pub and always find it fairly quiet. It is cosy in winter and airy in Summer plus there is plenty of seating. Lately the real choice is now a changing range of just two from from local micro breweries, but there is now a good range of bottled beer. Food is served most evenings and lunchtime, but ring to check. Ignore the couple of bad reviews.

After being a regular customer since September, my friends and I are no longer welcome at this pub, due to ‘not spening enough money’, despite spending £20 between 4 students. The landlady who runs the quiz, confrunted us as we left, in a aggressive manner, informing us we are no longer welcome unless we buy more drinks, highlighting only drinking soft drinks, with one person being t-total. I will never recommend this pub again, and they have lost any further customers through us, with more people intending to join us next week.

Rude owners, expensive drinks and discusting customer service. I am appolled with this pub and would never return here again due to bad manners and making my friends and I feel unwelcomed and looked down upon just because we are not from this town. I witnessed them serving under 18s alcoholic drinks and I personally heard the young teenagers talking about how happy they were about the fact they get served alcohol.

Great little local pub of mine, run by the most lovely couple... a must if you like a proper no thrills pub, which is rare these days in chi with all the fancy student bars

Cute pub. Great for a drink on the way home. Not impressed with the wine I had but my sister's beer was good. Very friendly bar maid.

Large inside despite what it appears outside, with a bright seating area for food or a more traditional bar style area on seperate sides. On each visit the bar staff have been friendly and welcoming.
