Smith & Western in Chichester

Great meal, American mid-west atmosphere, reminded us of good old South Dakota. Food was tasty, good size portions. A bit of line dancing Texas Roadhouse style to complement the birthday experience would be fun. Servers were friendly and attentive.

Fantastic atmosphere made by smiling staff. Great and tasty food, drinks and cocktails looking amazing and perfectly. I was spend great time with my friends. This place is definitely MUST HAVE on your list for restaurants visit. I will come back for enjoy again.

We went there for Saturday night dinner and we had to wait about 20 minutes even though we had pre-booked a table. The service is ok not too charming and not too lazy, but you have to wait to get your order. The food is good and their steak is not too different than other steak restaurants. The environment is really fascinating and enjoyable for the family and the kids. The parking area is spacious and you can find a spot easily. The only downside is the wait time for getting a table and the wait for getting the order.

I had my birthday lunch here recently because we love it so much. This restaurant provides for all generations and the quality of food is nothing short of sensational. The staff are all excellent and provide a customer service that is warm, friendly and above all natural. Dining at Smith & Western Chichester has always been a memorable experience that will no doubt force us to return again in the near future. A BIG thanks to everyone working there!

Really wanted to give this 5 stars but the main course let them down. The staff where amazing, appetiser set our taste buds off massive portion really tasty, the milk shake was just to creamy to heavy to rich I'm not sure if it contained milk or ice cream to us it just tasted of pure cream. We went for the t-bone stake £32 meal unfortunately mine was not edible I asked for medium rare it was barely pink and unfortunately mostly grisle bone and fat it's also a really thin cut it is advertised as 20oz but I'd say half of that is bone weight. I was offered something in exchange but to be honest it had put me off and hubby had finished his so I wouldn't want him to then sit there waiting 30 minutes for me to finish. They was kind enough not to charge us for my stake. The blue cheese stake sauce is very strong over powers the meal and pepper corn sauce lacked pepper. The bbq pulled pork on the appetiser was amazing and the sides that come with really compliment the meat. This was the winner for us.

We went to celebrate my friend's 40th birthday - we've been coming here since our late teens to celebrate special occasions. It was very busy, service was pretty quick - our server was very good. There was a pretty serious issue with my children's food, which was corrected quickly and we received a discount on our bill- It was put down to a supply chain change. We've never had a bad experience before, it was disappointing but does not reflect our usual opinion of the place; good food, fairly priced for the volume, fun atmosphere. Would say it's a place to visit for a party/special occasion, I wouldn't recommend for an intimate dinner!

What a beautiful place to go for a lovely meal food was a+ defo would recommend anyone to go there.

Great place for steaks. The wild west atmosphere adds to the experience. I notice the background music is on repeat so every 30 minutes it starts again...but loved it anyway.The service was slick, and the staff were all still wearing face masks 😷, but social distancing is a thing of the past.The place was busy, but we still were looked after very well.Even down to the Birthday Buster delivery the clanging and singing......

From arriving to leaving we had nothing but prompt, friendly service with a smile. The cocktails were made perfectly and there was a buzzing atmosphere. We really enjoyed everything we ordered from the pulled pork potato skins to the ribs and steak fajitas, which again, were all cooked to perfection.
