Lovely coffee house with a homely vibe. The interior takes you back in time! The garden is inviting on a nice day. The pastry is yummy though a bit pricey.. Overall a relaxing, comfortable experience.

It was okay and was very quiet and quaint, but expensive for what you get (cake was small and tea consisted of a mug with hot water with a tea bag on the side). It is also a bit OTT with the organic side and the very limited ingredients, which means not much choice. We didn't realise but having read other reviews it appears there is a minimum spend of about £5 per person. We went in for coffee and cake, but had we just wanted a drink each they wouldn't have served us. It is beyond me how they make any money.

Such a shame. My sister and I popped in here for a coffee this morning. We’ve been here many times over the years. Usually Bill is taking the orders at the counter but today was an older man, the owner Keith I believe. Oh dear, oh dear. He insisted I put a mask on, insisted he spray my hands with disinfectant and insisted he take my temperature (all this on 12 March 2022 when none of the COVID measures in shops are mandatory any longer). Then when I ordered two coffees (which would have come to £6.60) he informed me I HAD to spend £5 per person minimum. Zero customer service skills, zero charm, zero apology. I have now read his recent replies to other peoples’ reviews here. I totally understand having to put prices up but to (rudely) demand a £5 spend per person is unacceptable. So, I told him “no”, and we left. We could have spent £6.60 with you Keith, but instead you got nothing from us. You do the maths Keith. And we won’t be returning in a hurry. If you were the only coffee shop in town you might get away with it, but you’re not. Good luck with your new policy, you’re going to need it.

A different experience from other places in Chichester to have a drink & something to eat. So cosy with nooks and crannies everywhere to sit and enjoy the ambient atmosphere. Lunch was on upper end of what I may usually pay at £9.95 but beautifully prepared & delicious. We had a seat by the open fire🔥a real treat on a dull day 🙂

£5 minimum spend when we only wanted a £3.30 coffee, which forced us to spend more than we might have wished to. So we bought a piece of cake each- £4.95 for a rather small portion. The cake was certainly tasty, but the coffee nothing to write home about. Sadly this was our first and last visit.

Came yesterday afternoon on a recommendation and was greeted by a very rude old guy who made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome as 2 out of 3 of us were mask exempt! He insisted on spraying each of our hands with the same stuff the tables were being cleaned with even though we used the gel provided in there. There is a £5 minimum spend PER PERSON! so not somewhere to go if you only want to have a drink and to my horror (even though I had none with me) no babies are permitted in the cafe!Needless to say I won't be going back! I would have walked out but was so dumbfounded by the man's attitude and behaviour towards us but my very nervous friend had already started to order 😭

The St Martins Organic Coffee House is very traditional establishment with over 40 years of history and that's how it should be taken. The service, food and drinks are served in a classic way with focus on organic and homemade produce. The coffee house is a perfect spot for quiet coffee in the morning, however it can get busier at a lunch time.

A place where you are asked to please play the piano and where the wifi password is something like queen's birthday, tells everything about it!.Love the ambience, very cosy and warm, perfect place to think, read, have a chat, dp some work or just relax..All products from cakes to the lentils soup, are delicious! And everything is organic! Recommended!

I only had an Americano at this lovely coffee house, but it was remarkable. Dark, hot and strong, just like it should be.The food smells delightful here, so I bet it is just as good.Staff is VERY polite. I like that. The setting is just as lovely as all the above, being a incredibly old house in its original state and a back garden that makes you feel calm and rejuvinated.Starbucks nor NERO has nothing on this thoroughly nice spot.
