Subway in Chichester

Food is as good a quality as you'd expect from a Subway and is generally good, but they consistently get orders wrong both in store and when you order delivery eg you pay extra for double cheese then get a sandwich with no cheese at all, or you ask for it to be toasted and it comes out cold... items are always missing when you order for delivery, half the time they can't even get the right sauce or whether it was supposed to be toasted or not, and especially when you order for delivery via Uber Eats or Deliveroo its literally written on the order in black and white and I don't understand how they keep getting things wrong... and we all know how much of a pain dealing with Uber Eats or Deliveroo's customer service is, so good luck getting your money back for items you paid for but didn't receive! I understand it gets busy and mistakes happen, but it's literally every time! Given how much you pay for what you get it's just not good enough

Utterly horrible. The staff are lovely. However the food quality is incredibly poor the last 2 times we have got subway from the store both me and my other half had food poisoning.

Overall really good quality food, with lots of choices too. Excellent overall recommendation.

Made the server's day as he had never seen a Scottish £20 note .

Avoid!Found what looked like chicken in my veggie delight sandwich. 🤢 Put off subway for life

I don’t know what’s happened to this store it used to be good! Our last 2 orders were wrong even though we ordered on the app to collect. The second time they lost our order and took ages to sort it out after waiting 20 minutes they still forgot one of our drinks! The staff were rude and unhelpful. Think we will avoid in future! 😡

Re: Lunch time visit25/02/2022Staff member : Jose ( Part of his full name )I am absolutely disgraced with the lack of customer service.Two new trainees and Jose who has some more experience than the new workers were working and completed my order which was a spicy Italian 6’inch sub.I received my food and sat down. After sipping my Pepsi I noticed how flat it was and kindly asked Jose if I can have a bottle rather then the machine Pepsi, which I thought would be the easiest option rather than the customer having to wait for them to sort their machine out.Without hesitation Jose grabbed my Pepsi and tested it with the same straw I used!No respect for COVID 19 rules or preventive measures.I asked for a manager and he responded there are no managers what so ever.I highly recommend you stay away from Subway in Chichester. They were complaining how busy it was and that they have other customers to attend to.

A bargain food and drink break on our trip around Chichester.A great cuppa coffee and a seeded 6" full salad filled veggie option.Yummy.Very affordable.

Absolute Shambles! This place isn’t even worth a glance. I ordered my sandwich after being blanked for a couple of minutes while the staff had a catch-up, the staff member then moved onto the next person before mine was even out of the oven, I was then asked what salad I wanted in the sub to which I replied, then the staff member asked me “anything else” in a dull tone. To which I started ordering another sub and she seemed angry that I wanted to give them an extended custom! I wasn’t asked if I wanted it toasted, but it was thrown in the toaster and burned to the point the sub is now in the bin!Not my first negative experience at this amongst other subways. therefore, I will never return to a subway and especially never this subway in particular!
