The Banyan in Chichester

Excited to visit the new restaurant last night.The place looks amazing.Great customer service and the toilets are worth a visit. The food lets everything down as I could have had better at a far cheaper local restaurant. No trimmings are included so you need to order extra sides at yet more cost

Beautiful building. Lovely food. Great atmosphere, good pricing and good service. Highly recommended. Downside two tables are to close together.

Visited on the 22nd June for brunch. Staff were attentive and polite. I didn't have a reservation but managed to get a table and was given the choice of outside or inside. I sat outside as it was gorgeous day.I ordered the salted caramel espresso martini which tasted so smoth as well as the eggs royale which was cooked to perfection especially the poached eggs that still had a creamy centre. I was also offered water as soon as I sat down.My only criticism is other patrons being upset with me having a conversation with my mother too loud but staff were very happy to pass on my comments to management about this. Definitely not a reflection on the restaurant but maybe worth advising visitors that outside will be louder than inside.Overall great experience and would return again.

Went for opening evening and was not disappointedThe decor is beautiful and layout very 1920’s NYC style.Staff extremely attentive and food was delicious.Will absolutely be going back asap.

We visited last night (Saturday 18th June) for an evening meal for the restaurants trial runs. As expected, everything was outstanding. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Our server Charlie couldn't be more attentive. I would highly recommend a visit if you get the chance. I'll definitely be coming back.

Had lunch here today, fabulous! Amazing interior, same as other Ivy locations but just felt extra special. Staff are excellent and so friendly. My only complaint is that all the beers on offer are Scottish, German or Italian, no English beers, surely a local Harvey’s Best would make the grade?
