The Black Horse Inn in Chichester

Beautiful pub in the country, but very expensive for what you got, no kids menu £25 for a child is far to much! Service was OK, not somewhere I'd rush back to.

We had a great meal Friday 5th March I had the duck my wife had the pork belly. The food was wonderful and staff very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. Came back the next day just for a drink.

Had a fabulous gluten free vegan nut roast here today, all fresh vegetables. Plus a gorgeous chocolate vegan pudding. Would highly recommend, they looked after us and understand food allergies.

Great food & great service....really enjoyed all the friendly waiting staff. The young girl taking our orders (sorry didn't get her name but she'll know after reading the next bit 😊😂 !!) was amazing & I was so happy she said I could have the cappuccino ice-cream on it's own as a sweet !! xx

Brilliant meal, the sticky toffee pudding was excellent. Staff where great, except for the fact they didn't allow a 19 a beer with a meal, contrary to UK law. For that I believe four stars should be given.

I haven't been back here for roughly 6 years or so. Although in a quiet area it was quite busy today. I don't get to come to The Black Horse that often to eat or drink. It's also very well decorated during Christmas which gives a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Great pub in a beautiful location (choose a back of pub window table for views across the valley/ golf course).Food and service excellent!Highly recommended.

Friday night, super busy, we hadn't booked but they squeezed us and the dog in before the table was needed! Staff were really friendly, food came quite quickly. The fillet steak was massive and fish pie really tasty. Was totally packed by the time we left and judging by the conversations we could hear many are regulars to eat, not surprised. Dogs allowed in bar area so no reason not to give it a go!

Excellent Sunday lunch, great service and buzzy atmosphere. Roast beef cooked just right for me... First visit and will definitely return. Fabulous situation too.

Well if you are staying near to this pub you would not be disappointed with the food. We have been back many times now and constantly a beautiful meal.We had the pie 🥧 which was gorgeous and the belly pork the meals were beautiful. You always have to book as booked well in advance. Especially for an evening meal. Wouldn't leave it to chance to get a table
