Amazing! 🤩 Me and my partner visited the Cricketers Arm’s for the Jubilee. Even though it was very busy the staff were very attentive. Our food was really yummy and came out quite quickly and warm. I had the squid for starters. Then we both had the mac ‘n’ cheese for main, which was so cheesy! our waitress (sorry can’t remember her name 😅) was attentive and checked in on us for everything. She also informed us about what they have going on, to celebrate the Jubilee that weekend. The McMillan stand was adorable and bought a couple of the cupcakes definitely coming back again for the amazing food and amazing service! 😋

Food is good and the staff were very good considering there was a table of 20+ people who arrived at the same time as we did and we didn't have to wait too long to be served. Unfortunately there is very little in the way of soft furnishings - no carpets, no curtains, nothing to absorb noise - and the music was quite loud, so it was nearly impossible to talk to my fellow diners on my table. Next time we'll eat in the garden, provided the weather is good!

Great food and great atmosphere. They have deals on certain nights and the steaks are very nice! Being able to order on the app makes things easier and reduces wait times but the option is there if you want table service. Would recommend for a nice meal out

Lovely big pub with beautiful open fires. The shiraz that the bar staff recommended was absolutely gorgeous! We had a few starters between 4 of us and it really hit the spot. The staff were lovely too! Really nice place and we will be coming back!

Nice place and well presented but the service was very impersonal, i had a table booked but when we arrived i had to go to the bar to make myself known as opposed to being approached by any of the servers around. When shown to the table and seated we were told somebody would be with us soon to take our order but nobody did. My son ordered by the app as it was clear we weren't going to be served, it arrived soon enough and the food was fine, as we were finishing our meal some other people were shown to the table next to us and were there for a little while when a waitress came over to take their order and a little while into their meal they were approached again and asked if everything was OK. We had no interaction with any staff from start to finish, our 1st visit and probably the last was very disappointing. What a shame, what with hospitality suffering so much.

Nice chain-pub. Decent food for the price. Very fast service from friendly staff. Good range of food.

Nicely decorated, have been in the past. Very reasonably priced. Recent experience was poor. Seemed as if there were not many staff and they were busy which is understandable - but very little human courtesy. Very unwelcoming, we just felt we were a bother which shouldn’t be the hospitality experience. Just basic manners like a pleasant demeanour, offering a high chair for toddler, etc. Food ok for price but very little child choice. Most chain restaurants will offer more for young child like salmon, just smaller adult portions basically as it’s not the 1940s, kids like to eat well. Toddler had dried out piece of chicken and reheated solid mash and rightly wouldn’t eat it - I would happily pay more for more choices. Was mainly rudeness as reason for low rating unfortunately.

Came here for a family meal on a busy Saturday evening. Really polite staff (just the right level of attention), quick service, food piping hot, perfectly cooked. Couldn’t fault it - would recommend and would eat here again. Reasonably priced food.

The food in here is very nice and it's very cosy and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Next time I'm in Southampton area I will pop in again

We were very disappointed that after deciding what to have to eat we were told that there was no steak, chicken or gammon left so then had to choose something else. It would have been better to have been told this at the time we were given the menus. The food and drinks took a very long time to be served. The food when it came was very nice
