The Dolphin & Anchor in Chichester

Worst customer service ever. Girl with blue hair rolled her eyes and spoke to us like rubbish. Then the bar man who poured us an ipa instead of a San Miguel had a go saying we were wrong. Then told us that we can get a refund which never came through. Never felt so unwelcome. So rude. Very unimpressed with service. Expected better.

Definitely one of the better 'Spoons. Food was prompt and hot. Staff were friendly and the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly after customers moved on. Recommended for a decent reasonably priced meal in a nice atmosphere

Nice venue with friendly staff. Food is great value with plenty of choice. Not stunning by any means but it's a Wetherspoons so great value. Also great ales with lots of choice and loads more when they have their regular beer festivals. Love the breakfasts!

Tables weren't clean so had to ask staff multiple times if they wouldn't mind clearing the table. Staff chatting at bar about a night out they just had...lovely that they have a social life don't get me wrong but we asked 10 minutes prior for the table to be cleared.Food was 4/10 with the Portions really small compared with others that we have frequented. Paid for deserts and they never arrived so we left.Good place for drinks but not for a meal if you want a good service. The restaurant was not bust and plenty of Tables all with dirty plates so maybe a staffing issue.

Had a fantastic breakfast here with my family last Saturday and can highly recommend for value and speed of service after placing your order at the bar. Family friendly atmosphere and offers free refills on hot drinks too!! ☕ Staff were attentive and very friendly at all stages. Definitely going back! 🙂

Decent Whetherspoons on the high Street. Sat in a window seat with a view of the Cathedral. Local ale selection was a great recommendation from the bar staff. Food was as expected, good portions and flavour. Nice atmosphere and good staff. I will definitely visit again when I am in the area.

I had a good Chicken tikka masala, although the rice came with it wasn't superb. Dropped by spoons for a quick dinner. Loved all the friendly staff. Meals at affordable price.

Dolphin has been our favorite for the time that we have been here in Chichester.My first fish and chips experience is from this place.A lot of sober and drunk moments inside this pub.This pub is like home to me.British people have a saying "eating is cheating" but I cant help it. I had this mixed grill platter all to myself before I started drinking. I was so pleased with it. Meatfest 😍It is worth the price and even my partner enjoyed his meal and would happily order a second plate. 🤣It was not too crowded when we visited. Bank holiday night.After our dinner we all had a couple of drinks to bring all the food down.Have the weatherspoon app ready.

A very busy pub near the cathedral with an interesting history. The building was originally two pubs amalgamated into one The Tory/Wig party occupied one and the interior still retains its stuccoed ceiling and gilt reliefs. Acoustically it was very noisy and they had run out of menu’s but the staff were efficient and the application worked.

I had a very positive experience today. As I hadn't got any mobile phone reception the staff made the extra effort to find a rare paper menu and managed to process the order very quickly at the till. Drinks and food were delivered very quickly. The burgers were made exactly as requested. Really satisfied
