The Fox and Hounds in Chichester

Fabulous pub with very friendly staff and excellent cuisine all in a beautiful village. Highly recommend!

Lovely friendly atmosphere, open fire fantastic food, lovely friendly staff who go above and beyond.

I have ridiculous allergies and they were amazingly accommodating. I'm dairy, soy, eff and oat intolerant. The staff and chef were very helpful and knowledge. Amazing with children and a pram. Friendly service and good value for money xx

Amazing food, with sensational flavours. Lovely staff, plenty of parking although none designated for disabled (had to walk across busy road with crutches, fast traffic).

Just a brief summary.Good:Dog friendly.Open on Saturday afternoon for food. Most pubs in the area are closed for food between 2/3pm and 6pm.They have a gluten (coeliac) free main menu.They have parking outside and across the the road.What could be improved:The Thai green curry was a v.small portion. About 2 egg cups of rice, 4 muscles and 6 prawns for around £16. There could have provided more rice.No gluten free dessert menu. However, they did have a gluten free choc tart.They had no sweet potato fries (one had an allergy to white potato).

Lovely friendly, relaxed pub in Funtington Village. Parking outside and car park across road. Dog friendly. Good ambience, tasteful decor. Sat by log fire. Hadn't booked as just come from great walk in nearby Kingsley Vale. Table quickly available for three, approximately 2 pm Sunday. Had roast Turkey dinner, large Yorkshire pudding with peas, red cabbage and swede and cauliflower. Roast potatoes, Runny gravy. Had draft cider, very good. Pint glass with Fox logo. Sweet offered but couldn't fit in. On the whole good and tasty. Big plate full. Could have been hotter. Good service.

Another great Sunday lunch had today!! Eaten in this pub a few times now and can’t fault it great friendly atmosphere good food and the staff very helpful and polite oh and very reasonably priced 👌

This was our first time at The Fox & Hound. It was fabulous, the food was lovely, really tasty and hot. Good choice on menu and not rushed. Staff were really nice and friendly too. We will definitely be going again. Thanks for a great evening.

Lovely pub. Staff very polite and helpful, food was gorgeous. I had the Steak and Ale Pie and my wife had the half chicken. Good size portions and very tasty.

Popped in here for an early dinner on Easter Friday. Food was excellent, both main and dessert. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was very quiet but it was early (6pm). Suspect booking probably essential most weekends.There are a few parking spaces opposite the pub. And about 8 tables in the garden at the rear (plus a few at the front).Would highly recommend if in the area.
