Beautiful food, amazing staff went for a Sunday lunch near the end of service and they were able to accommodate us! Some friends have booked the Venue for their upcoming wedding and I can't wait!

Popped in on the off chance of getting a Sunday lunch without having booked anything. The Team were all very friendly and welcoming. We had the roast beef, it was delicious. Definitely be going back.

Cider and chips, weekly visit makes for a good week.Car park surface a little rough in places, various external eating areas, inside old pub charm well maintained.Covid controls in place, left to individuals to adopt their own safety measures.

What a lovely place for lunch. Good menu choice with specials board too! Staff were helpful and very pleasant! Will go back again

·

Friendly and efficient service.Food was delicious. I had told them that we would have a dog with us and they seated us at a well positioned table with plenty of space. We all had a pleasant time recovering after a very hot walk.

Stopped for a drink during a round Robin hike. Staff were friendly and pub had a nice atmosphere. Although we didn't eat, food there smelt and looked good! We both intend to go back there for a meal soon.

First visit today to this country pub. It was a good find as great food & beer and dog friendly. We had 2 x fish & chips and 1 x chicken schnitzel burger all of which were very tasty. We had 2 drinks each & shared a dark chocolate delice dessert (amazing!) The bill was £62 for 3 people. Would have been 5 but 1 star off for lack of allergens on menu although waitress did go and check in kitchen when asked about dishes.

We attended a wake following a funeral. The buffet was very good. The staff were amazing they kept coming to see if we needed more drinks ordered. They were all only young but so polite. Well done to all members of staff. Highly recommend

Good traditional pub with lots of outside space and nice views. Food was good and well priced, service was friendly but slow on food.
