Situated on the outskirts of the medieval town of Midhurst, West Sussex on the A272 towards Petersfield, just a 10-minute walk from Midhurst Town centre. Open 7 days a week we pride ourselves on offering good quality, homemade pub food using locally sourced products as much as we can. We have an extensive menu including our extremely popular carvery, serving a choice of three meats with all the trimmings! We found this pub on route and decided on lunch. We enjoyed omelettes and baguettes very much indeed. The staff are friendly and helpful and the beer is good. What more could anyone want on a sunny afternoon

I've stopped here several times, had half a 1664 today, £2.95! I understand pubs need to make up for lost time but even a very nice restaurant near me doesn't charge that much.

Lovely pub and restaurant.we stumbled on it by chance whilst on oir travels and only stayed for a drink. Staff we friendly and helpful, clear social distancing, a nice little space outside, service was good and the food smelt amazing and ladies they even have a small stock of emergency sanitary stuff in the loo 💖💖

Had a lovely traditional sunday roast. The food was lovely, the staff so friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyable experience. It was our first time at the Half Moon and would recommend it. Value for money too.

When it does come to food, everyone has a individual pallet of course. But this December, on our way to Devon, we have had at last enough time to stop and pop in for a Sunday Roast. We have been very early at all and the staff did just about start to bring the carvery on. We have had pork and beef and I must say we encountered a raost that was absolutely delicious. Enormous qantities of brilliant prepared veggies were also on offer and suitable for a vegetarian. The beef was succulent and tender and very beautiful. The staff was very kind, warmingly welcome and informative about their preparations of the food. Thanks to all, we try to spend our next break at your place again. VERY recommandable.
