Don't get me wrong it was nice but it wasn't as good as it could be. The meat sharer I had, chicken wings didn't feel seasoned at all nor smoked, sausages felt on the cheap side, not smoked. Brisket was okay. Ribs didn't taste smoked. To summarise, I've had better but it was okay. Sticky toffee pudding was lush but no custard only ice cream as standard. The other guests all had roast which they all enjoyed but said there were not enough potatoes.

Great good old fashioned pub feel but modern, never had a bad meal and the beers are fantastic! Wish they would bring back their loyalty cards though 😞Always recommend this place!

A pub, a real pub. Good beer, good food and an open mic night on Wednesdays (Sorry, its on Tuesdays and kicks off at about 8:30pm).Is there anything better after a good day wondering about than to plonk your arse down in a pub where the staff are friendly, the beer excellent and the food hearty.

Great pub. Lovely grub, fantastic selection of Beers, Cider and everything else. The staff were great too. Keen to let you try anything on tap and full of knowledge.

A fabulous place, I would recommend calling in. A great selection of real ales, craft beers etc. The person who served me was very knowledgeable about the beers. They asked what style of beer I liked, made suggestions and offered samples. The choice I picked based on their suggestions was excellent.i had the Big Smoke Electric Eye, so good half of it drunk before the photo lol.The food looks very nice but I didn't eat on this visit

We’ve popped in for a drink and liked the place a lot. Great variety of real ales, local beers and ciders. They have a nice collection of vinyl and it was a pleasure to listen to the proper music.Thank you guys for putting your heart into your job.

Lovely meal. Food was lovely. Service was brilliant although the poor girl was run off her feet! I felt for her but she was lovely and very attentive. Would deffo visit again.

Apart from the dreary Motown playing (I'm not a fan), it is a nice cosy pub old fireplace and a good selection of drinks on offer, surprisingly a decent Harvey's Best Bitter which was well kept. Staff not over friendly but allowed me to sample ale before purchase. Plenty of comfortable seating, shame the piano was tucked up against the bar so unable to play it, would have been better than the music played.

What a fantastic place, the staff took great care of you even though they were clearly busy they still made sure to let you know they would be with you shortly and they were regularly cleaning everything in site. I was never short of a drink and the dirty fries were exactly how they should be!!
