Fantastic little place ,beautiful rooms ,not for work lads but breakfast was really nice good service quality local produce 👍

Great pub, great food, lovely location. Staff are always friendly and very welcoming.

Had a superb dinner here last night, excellent friendly service, scallops, followed by fish cakes then a cheesecake, beautifully presented and delicious. I had forgotten my glasses so could not read the menu… they even supplied spectacles! They also know how to pour the perfect dry martini.

Great spot with friendly and efficient service, delicious food and comfy room. And our dog was made to feel as welcome as we were. We shall return.

Amazing overnight stay in comfortable and cosy room. Cheese soufflé a chicken pie for dinner was great, and really good local cask ale. The pub has a really warm atmosphere and a good mix of diners as well as local drinkers. Thanks to Gary and Claudia for the hospitality! Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay. Rooms are lovely and seem to have been recently renovated, super king bed and coffee facilities. Bathroom a little small but perfect for a night or two. We had dinner here and it was nothing short of spectacular, with excellent service and wine. Breakfast is included and this was also very good. Have recommended this place to friends for my upcoming wedding later.

Wonderful gastropub - friendly welcome, service and chat. Fantastic food and great cask ales. Do not hesitate to visit, must be the best pub in the area & for miles around!

Didn’t stay at all but had dinner last Friday and it was fabulous - delicious and clever food beautifully presented . And staff all really friendly, keen to advise but good advice and Claudia delightful and interested in her customers . Think hubby is in the kitchen but that’s just great - please leave him there !

Food was amazing, staff were so courteous and helpful and a really nice atmosphere. Would definitely return!I had camenbert for starter which was done to perfection.I've never had spinach and ricotta ravioli before and it was incredible!Then the passionfruit and mango cheesecake with mango sorbet. The flavours were amazing and topped off and really good meal.

We stayed here for a little getaway and am so glad we picked The Horse and Groom, the room was amazing and spacious and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly, no faults at all. We will be back very soon!
