Firstly, staff was nice but got pressured into buying more than i wanted. Secondly all the deserts are NOT home made and don't taste good, not bad but not worth the price, the food itself was good, but nothing more than good. My mate said his coffee was AMAZING but that's about it. No regrets in going there for a meal but definitely no hurry to go back either... decor was nice, and they allow take away for food when you order it which was great, they also allow customisation of your food if its not really busy which is always great. But yeah, food in the end was okay but for what it was and the price, you'd might as well make it yourself. No worse, no better.

Even if I don’t go so often, it is a pleasure for me to have my favourite breakfast and the good coffee. Nice place to have your breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Best staff, incredibly friendly and warm atmosphere. The food is incredible, I eat there all the time and I have never had a bad or even so much as an average experience with the food. Very clean and also has outdoor seating for the nice and sunny days.Would highly recommend to anybody.Thank you.

Very good value, lovely food and a pleasant ambience make this a great place to eat.We visited on a weekday morning while staying nearby. The mini breakfast at £4.25 appealed. We also had a mug of Illy coffee each. The coffee was good and they also had soya milk available. The mini breakfast was ready in just over ten minutes. It was a lot larger than expected, including sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms and egg on toast.Really delicious. I especially loved the mushrooms and bacon. The café has a pleasant decor, and comfortable seats. It has seating for around thirty inside, plus a garden area, and outside seating in front too.Table service is available if sitting inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a unisex customer toilet available, although it didn't look wide enough for a wheelchair user. The café is fully accessible and finding suitable seating for a wheelchair user shouldn't be a problem.Apart from breakfast, they do main meals, cakes, sandwiches and burgers among the many choices. Take away is available on many items. We paid a total of £12.30, which is one of the best value breakfasts we've had. Note they take cash only, no cards.Whatever you fancy, The Local Café is well worth trying.
