I have been eating here now for over 12 years and never had a bad meal this Restaurant is the jewel of Chichester I they even gave me some scraps for our dog Teddy Who throughly really enjoyed them

·

Good food fair choice. Attentive and personable waitress. Reasonable prices. Only four stars because wash-hand basin in ladies loo not working

·

Lovely old pub with lots of charm and just outside of the main high street but still busy which is good to see also great staff and very friendly . And for the best bit the carvery on Sunday but do book early as it gets busy and I know why a great selection of meats and the chef let's you have more than 1 slice of meat and the trimmings were all hot and tasty and you got to have the Yorkshire pud it's the size of a small plate . Me and Mrs likes it that much we gonna stay in 1 of the many rooms which look lovely 😍

Food was ok, I had a curry which you got to chose your strength, I asked for medium, it was mild, ordered a sticky toffee pudding, It was warm with hot spots, all tasted nice but nothing special just disappointed as the Sunday carvery menu is lovely

The Nag's Head is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. I went to Chichester alone for the first time and scared of what I might get on a budget. It exceeded my expectations. The room was cheap but very clean and tidy and the bathroom was lovely with a huge bath. The hotel and bar staff were both lovely and helpful. The breakfast included in the price was very generous and high quality. The pub is very welcoming and very reasonably priced..and I say that as a northerner expecting silly prices- even the pub meals were excellent and well priced.I went on a Thursday and Friday night and both evenings were quiet upon going to bed. I couldn't recommend this place more. I've told my family and friends to go if they ever go to Chichester. If I lived in Chichester I would make that place my local

Girlfriend and I stayed four nights. Being a pub and the price we were paying we were ready to make some allowances. How wrong we were! This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we have been in quite a few. Our room was spacious and “well appointed”, the restaurant comfortable, the food high quality especially the “full English” breakfast and the pub is situated in the centre of town, handy for shops, heritage sites, etc.But worth a separate mention is the staff. They were very friendly but also very professional

Would have given 5 stars but for a few niggles. Would have preferred a shower to a bath. Bath shower head constantly dripping. No parking so had to fork out further £14.00 to park overnight in Council car park. And having a roadside room was noisy in the morning. On the plus side the place was clean and food was very nice.

Good food - HUGE portions on meat at the carvery, with well prepared veg.We were a party of 12 and a party of 30-40 came in after us and the restaurant was able to get all of our meals out in a timely manner.Only let down was not getting our drinks order taken until we asked, and then the starter's being served before we got our drinks!Otherwise, lovely pub with clean and welcoming facilities.I look forward to coming again!

We've been to the Nag's Head several times, it's a lovely timber framed building and has a large conservatory as part of the dining area. We took the carvery option and as always the food was excellent and good value for money, we will be returning next year.

This place is huge!!! It displays a beautiful, old, wooden bar. The place has a massive patio area with tables and chairs and a smoking area. The Nags Head is not just a bar, the serve the most delicious food at a very affordable price, check out their menu. I had the rump steak and it was succulent and juicy. There is paid off street parking near the pub as well as a pay and display parking area at the back of the pub.Family friendly with step free access.Worth paying a visit!!
