The Ship Inn Itchenor in Chichester

Forty of our friends and family met up in the super garden at The Ship Inn on 9th July and enjoyed a fabulous lunch of delicious pizzas. Altogether we had 9 child size pizzas and a selection of 15 large pizzas. All were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The staff were extremely helpful and we were made very welcome. Thank you to all at The Ship Inn - we will be back!!

Lovely pub and beautiful location. Food when I visited was reasonably priced and nicely done.

Visited while on a trip back to the UK and had a relaxing drink in the garden on a beautiful summers day. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding of how to register for the carpark got a PCN which the pub kindly resolved for me. Will come back when their kitchens are reopened .Just a heads up for other car park users, make sure your registration is entered into the terminal in the bar.

Food not as good as it used to be. But it is a very nice pub and central for some lovely walks. Dog friendly and free parking for customers.

The staff really friendly there isn't food at the moment as the kitchens are being refurbished, but there is a pizza hut out back serving freshly cooked pizza beer was good.

Large pub in Ichinor village. Good place for a drink and food whilst walking. Dog friendly and the sides we had as a snack really nice recommended. Watch out for parking as I believe the village has had issues with parking and there was a parking warden there on the Sunday we were there. Quite a few people got tickets.

Loved this place. Popped in on our way to the car park.Lovely traditional setting.Great decor, friendly atmosphere.Staff helpful and attentive.Will recommend and return if in the area.

Pretty awful overpriced food. Location was great and the staff accomodated for an extra 2 people at short notice but it was poor after that. Menu said truffle fries with the grill, we questioned when normal fries came out only to be lied to our faces with a response saying they were truffle, we bought this up again later to check and got ignored. £24 for a poor fatty steak, swpped the chips for veg and got an extra mushroom and tomato. The fish cakes meant to come with seasonal greens it was just cabbage (why not just put that in the menu) Grilled haloumi that was tough rubber and overcooked and cold. Would not reccomend and don’t lie to your customers, change your menu to just normal fries.

We really enjoyed our meal here, two children's meals great portion size for the money, I had the slow cooked pork, it was delicious and very filling, topped off with a lemon sorbet. My partner had the lamb dish which looked amazing. And to top it off the free WiFi was really good which pleased the kids.

Lovely restaurant / pub. Great food and great service, wheelchair friendly and a nice fire place next to our table. We loved it there. Well recommended!
