First time in the pub, great staff atmosphere and the food was divine. Best Sunday lunch we've had in a pub for a long time. 🙏

Choose off the Internet as it had a good selection of vegetarian dishes, the food was wonderful staff brilliant and it still holds its local atmosphere

Very nice pub, I had never been in before but my partner had. The landlord gave us warm welcome, nice atmosphere with a lovely open fire, we will visit again

A family gathering at the Stags Head proved to be a good decision. 13 of us sat down for a meal. 3 choices of meat, a selection of vegetables, roasties of course and gravy over yorkshire pudding. The hardened ones in the group met the challenge of sticky toffee, cream or custard. Chocolate pudding was last seen being rapidly devoured by a nephew. Accompanying all this was copious amounts of either wine or beer including a local ale. An excellent pub atmosphere, family run, very friendly and helpful to one and all. Prices very reasonable. Parking can be awkward. Long live a local pub!
