Very friendly and accommodating, great Sunday roast. Good idea to give a 'mixed' option, beef,pork and lamb.

Had a cool drink on a hot sunny day. Intimate garden. No food available which was a bit of a shame - due to staff shortage I think

Lovely 17th century rooms where everything is slanted and massive woodern beams everywhere which definitely transports you back in time, we had a cute cubby hole library in our room which was loved by all. Food was very good for dinner and excellent cooked breakfast, staff were lovely too and couldn't be more helpful.Amazing value for money would recommend to anyone who wants something olde.

The value for money wasn’t good. The starter was £7.50 for the squid and you could place all the squid pieces on to one fork. I ate them in less than 2 minutes!! Not good value. The fish and chips also don’t represent good value at £13.50. The gammon was over cooked

Outside is a little old, but the inside is very cosy.The owner is super friendly and the food is SUPER.Long time ago, that we had such a fine mealThx, for the meal, the laugh and the breakfast ;-)

Opposite the Petworth estate on a busy road, we arrived at off peak time and pleased that they served food all day, nice atmosphere with friendly staff, we enjoyed a pie and veg, washed down with a local beer

Great place to stay within a few hired yards of Petworth Town centre. Friendly staff and great breakfast!

It was a very friendly pub. We stayed the room was beauiful and the breakfast was lovely .we are differently going back

The Sunday roast was very bad sadly - the food wasn’t fresh or tasty and overpriced. A shame because the building is beautiful, but would not recommend

Lovely welcome and the food is nice and the prices reasonable.The outside and some of the interior decor is a bit tired which does bring the overall rating down.Still worth stopping at though.
