Popped in for a quiet drink with a colleague. Friendly staff and lots of outdoor seating with shade to beat the heat 😎 food smelled good, will be back to sample another time!

Good food and drinks, terrible signal and WiFi in the garden area.Hard for someone to come and work during the day with a laptop but a classic booza.

Lovely building with ample outside seating area. Our room was very small but clean. Plenty of tea / coffee and toiletries available.

We stayed here when using our spa and dinner vouchers at Ockenden Manor, great value for money. We stayed in a family room and the breakfast was nice enough. Lovely beer garden

Im friends with the owners, and. this is one of my all-time favourite pubs in the whole of England the service is outstanding and the setting of the Venue is very cosy. It's a traditional British Pub

Really hot room even with heating off, amazingly busy road for a week day meant little sleep. Only one socket in room shared with tiny tv so not really meant for business stays, but a really nice pub and friendly staff and cracking breakfast !!

A right little gem, lovely food, great beer, lovely staff. I normally would have booked premier Inn but they tripled their price, so I came here and wow so glad I did, friendly conversation with the lovely locals, my room has a single bed which I haven't slept in since I was a lot younger but is very comfortable and the room is very clean and has all I need for the night. I will be returning here instead of the Premier Inn because of the aforementioned things, it's just better here and more in sync with the local area.

Stayed one night 19th March 2022. Silverfish in bathroom. Shower only dribbles. Breakfast until "11 am" (except it "had been put away" at 10:45 am). Keys appear to open other rooms. No idea how this place has good reviews on here and is listed as a 4-star. Avoid.

The rooms are ok. Small but clean. The noise from the road was terrible and there was a lot of typical old building hotel noise like doors slamming, squeaky floors and stairs and rattling doors through the night.Good food in the pub and one of the waitresses was brilliant and friendly. Unfortunately I heard /saw two other serving staff swearing under their breath and eye rolling about customers.
