Car park could accommodate our campervan. Dog friendly. Very nice restaurant with inside and outside seating overlooking a large pond. Gluten free options available. Wonderful array of buildings that have been dismantled at their original site, and reassembled here. Added bonus was to see and meet some of the 'Repair Shop' craftsmen and women as filming was taking place when we were there.Only reason not 5 star is because there were no live trade demonstrations going on in the exhibits. The people there telling you about the various buildings were knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. Would recommend.

It is literally incredible to see houses rebuilt from centuries ago....it really captures the agricultural period. The falconry display was wonderful and we learnt so much as well as watching the birds in action. It was a brilliant demonstration. In fact, everyone involved in building, preserving and creating the exhibits have done a marvellous job.All staff were friendly helpful and professional..We just can't wait to go back!

A stunning location, covering many acres, most open fields but a fair bit of woodland. Many houses and other buildings lovingly removed from development areas in the south east and carefully relocated at the museum. Clean and modern cafe/shop/loo buildings at the entrance do not seem out of place.

A wonderful place to visit and go back in time to admire the architecture of old. You could easily spend all day there. You can buy a daily ticket or an annual pass. You can take your own food and have a picnic or there is a café. The staff and volunteers are friendly and informative. There are also plenty of parking spaces available. I would recommend anyone of all age groups to visit as it's interesting and educational.

A very enjoyable day out, cafe had inside and outside seating but a bit of a wait for food if it was busy, no problem if you just wanted a drink and a slice of cake. Information boards were very good. Paths were mainly gravel or stony so I think they would be difficult/bumpy for wheelchair users

This open air museum offers a insight into how people lived in the past. There were staff there demonstrating how bread was made and tasted the day I went. It's a very scenic place and things to do for all ages.

An array of wonderfully historic buildings, equipment and farming gear. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The cafe serves great sandwiches and the ducks are very friendly. The mill is fantastic - I highly recommend buying some freshly milled flour whilst you're there.

This is an amazing place, not only the home of the BBC TV show The repair shop also our history of how things were made and how we lived and changed with the times. All the staff here are helpful and very knowledgeable, they pride them self's on having over 400 volunteers. Great place for the kids and plenty of open spaces. On site cafe had home made food on as well as a great selection of gluten-free and vegan options. The cakes are wonderful, and they sell local ice-cream again they have a vegan option too. Can't praise this place enough ☺️.

I love this open air museum, it definitely benefits for a visual learner like me. The pond was beautiful with sunny weather. The staff and volunteers were very knowledgeable about the buildings. The most amazing thing is that all buildings have been dismantled then rebuilt it with the original materials and the buildings are still function for example the Carpenter workshop and the dry brick area!!

From the visitors' centre to the buildings themselves, not forgetting all the really genuinely helpful, smiley and knowledgeable staff, this is a lovely, interesting place to visit. I just wish we had been able to see all of the "exhibits" (which are spread out over a quite large area of beautiful countryside with well-tended paths), but my (82 y.o.) Father was feeling tired...we will be back...but without him 😊
