Lovely drinks, didn't eat any food so can't comment. Staff were lovely and very friendly except for the dj who was playing rubbish music and wouldn't change it after many complaints so we left!

Hmmm woodies needs to decide if it’s a restaurant a bar or a club as there is too much going on in the evening, people wanting to dance spill into the restaurant area and spoil it slightly, as others have said for the price the food is average, drinks take too long and staff seem uninterested and too few and far. Management please decide or there will be another for let sign above the door soon!

I get the idea that chief gives the clients as show but getting one prawn on a bead of salad pushes the imagination a bit far. Can't deny that the food was good though.

Very disappointed with the whole experience.I had the restaurant call me around midday asking for a list of people’s orders (the same night our table was booked for) which was very inconvenient and stressful. We had ordered bread and olives for the table which had never turned up yet had been put on our bill. The wait for our drinks order was extremely long, at least 20 minutes each time and we had the wrong drinks turn up twice with the staff looking at us as though it was our fault, walking away with a strop. The room was super cold! Actually quite unbearable as people kept coming in and out through the back door and staff going out and leaving one of the doors open whilst getting what seemed like supplies from round the back. No heating I assume. Once we finished our meal all we wanted to do was leave as it got really rowdy and so busy you couldn’t really move or get through anywhere. Why let so many people in?! Don’t even get me started on the toilets…so disgusting. The only one star goes for the food which was actually really tasty. Woodies burger was lovely but we wouldn’t go back there again.

Really wouldn’t give them one star .Booked a meal for last night for my anniversary and my dad’s birthday. Haven’t been before, will definitely not return.waited over 45mins before we got served. Omg the steak was so chewy couldn’t eat it full of fat, the wine was just disgusting and well one particular person that was there was so rude and obnoxious I believe he needs to go on a retraining course for how he should speak to his customers.

Wow oh wow! This is honestly the best meal and drink combo I have had.Came here along with my partner on a very busy Saturday night, the food was OUTSTANDING, We both had corn fed chicken 🤤🤤🤤.We then headed in to the attached music venue (The Annex), there was a live DJ and the atmosphere was sensational!Well done to all of the team you are truly all stars 🌟

My wife & four others booked the bottomless brunch deal & it was the worst experience she had ever had. The booking was not on the restraunts system, & they were treated like they were lying, despite the email confirmation they had. They eventually served them despite sending the chef home, with substandard food that was barely enable. The manageress treated her table with utter contempt. It was an hour & a half of awkwardness. The price changed from £27 per head at the time of booking to £35 & also a hidden service charge. Avoid this place as you can do a lot better for £40 per head.

Very disappointing night, felt like they had no concern for their customers safety as barely any Covid guidelines followed.Staff sat drinking with customers breaking all social distancing, not wearing face masks.Customers dancing and walking around the restaurant drinking. Being loud and obnoxious. The food was superb and the best I’ve eaten in Chichester but not done any justice but the extremely loud background music and lack of management. Woodies has been part of Chichester for as long as I can remember but unless things change in afraid it will be another closed business in the town centre

Great food - but five stars go to staff who are completely brilliant - so friendly and helpful from checking everything is ok to charging up phones and booking taxis. A real credit and make for a great experience. Thanks to Jess and the rest of the team. x

Woodies reopening last night and hats off to them! The food, service and atmosphere were all spot on. Friendly, hardworking staff, exquisite food (and desserts!) with relaxed lighting and stylish decor. Looking forward to many more visits. An easy 5/5!
