One of the best places to buy fish and chips. Their food is really good. It has large portions as well.

Fantastic food!!! Fish was amazing, sausage was good chips are fantastic. Only downside is its a cash only establishment, which is a pain, and the battered sausage could be better. But the fish and chips are absolutely brilliant!!!!

Great place for traditional Friday evening fish and chips.

A very popular takeaway option in Amersham - it's always very busy on a Friday and Saturday evening. Our usual order is a large haddock, large chips, mushy peas and curry sauce, and this is usually plenty for two people. Good value and good quality fish, nice chunky chips crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Only snag is cash only and I always forget.

We had heard good things about this chippy, and decided to take a drive to try it out. I explained to the server we had travelled from far and so we needed our chips to be piping hot so they are warm when we get home, and they actually made fresh chips for us! The staff were really friendly, portions were a good size and the chips were delicious!! My fave new chippy I will be recommending to everyone

Excellent fish and chips but people who go in without masks are not challenged, endangering other customers and staff. The sign on the door says that masks must be worn and the staff should not serve anybody without one.

Not a bad fish and chip shop. Sausages are beef/chicken (halal) that are much worse than pork. A bit on the expensive side, but overall not bad.

When they first opened the fish and chips were fantastic. Nowadays the quality is nowhere near as good and the prices are rising ever higher presumably as there is no local competition. I won't be back after finding that cod and chips there would cost a massive £7.00 but will go the extra mile down to Waterside and get great value and superb fish and chips from Hing's!!
