Came for father's day and left very impressed! Service was fantastic- our host was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question about the style, origins and cooking of the food! He also brought us some little extras to try which were very appreciated.The menu had lots of great looking options, I had the scallops to start and the textures and flavours were stunning! I would eat this dish forever if possible!For mains I had one of the chicken dishes, and this was really delectable as well.All in all, the food was fantastic, the service was quick and very pleasant, and we would definitely come again.

Visited Hawkyns for my birthday and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic, The amazing waiter who was really knowledgeable and very friendly advised us to try the tasting menu as it was our first visit. The food was high quality with fantastic flavours that complemented each other perfectly , The break in between dishes was spot on as was the portions, Obviously they were small as a tasting menu but enough to get the flavour and feel satisfied . The quality of the flavours was fantastic really authentic taste with a bit of fancy twist without being pretentious. Rohan particularly (unsure of spelling) but all the other staff as well were excellent.Thank you

This was a lovely evening. The service was attentive, glasses kept topped up regularly. Staff were friendly and even though the restaurant was busy, nothing felt rushed. The food was utterly delicious. We had the tasting menu. It wasn't spicy, just lovely fragrant and delicate flavours. The place is cosy, with a lovely buzz about it. Definitely worth a visit.

Food was average. Our booking was at 1pm on a Saturday. The gentleman serving our table said to us more than a couple of times that the kitchen was closing soon and for us to place our order as soon as we were seated! Said that they are fully booked today and expecting larger groups after us. That put us off at the outset. Didn't expect reminders of kitchen closing at 1am? You open at 12 for lunch on Saturday. Not happy. Won't bother trying Masalchi at Wembley.

Nice food and ambiance but nothing to rave about. I was expecting more from a restaurant that’s owned by a Michelin star chef. If you do end up going, these were my favourite dishes: butter chicken, aubergine steaks, simosas, daal and naan.

Been a couple of times now (once with kids). Pricey food for Amersham, service is fast but good if you ask, wine list best in area and value for money…. We’ll go every month, not perfect and hard to live up to expectations but quality food and a new experience for the area that’s attracting lots of my friends. Great for Amersham. A Wonderful experience all round. The restaurant itself is beautiful and cosy, making you feel instantly relaxed.The staff only add to that feeling, welcoming you and are both knowledgeable and friendly.And the food is delightful. We had the set lunch menu, which at £20 for 2 courses or £25 for 3 is amazing value.If you're anywhere in the area, it's really worth a visit - and I'd make that quite a wide area, as it's worth the trip!

Very disappointing dined here for a double birthday celebration bland food no flavourLuke warm missing items on menu even my non Asian friend commented very bland food watery tasteless definitely over hyped do not recommend to dine here had better quality tasty ready meals from a microwave !!
