Always delicious been going there for nearly 40 years.

Great food. Great staff. We always enjoy eating here

I've found this to be my favourite for delivery in my area. I always order Makhani Chicken as I hate coriander and this isn't an ingredient. I've ordered it for the last 8 months or so but today it had chopped coriander through the sauce despite me starting on the order no coriander on the order. It ended up going in the bin and I ate the bread. So many people don't like coriander, it should be listed as an ingredient of your going to use it, especially if you're changing a recipe.

Delicious food and never too busy so easy to talk. Nice atmosphere, but service can sometimes feel a little slow. Been a few times and would go again

A great place to go for fantastic Indian food. We have been ordering Indian takeaways from this restaurant for a long time with no complaints. Not too long ago we decided to actually eat there, and we were not disappointed. The service was notably very fast, and the food was better than takeaway (which can be expected; takeaway food, while very good, can never be as good as food served in a restaurant!). All-in-all, a very good place to eat. I recommend eating there should you live in the area.

First time take away. I have coeliac disease with a dairy intolerance and they were extremely helpful. I had the lamb rogan steamed rice with a veggie curry on the side and it was lovely. Great portion size. The only downfall was that the lamb was a bit dry. Ready really quickly.

Amazing food, freindly staff. Ordered online to collect, the restaurant was clean and modern. Portions were Big, and the restaurant had no problem changing dishes so suit our needs. Would give 6/5!

Consistent, above average Indian cuisine and no delivery issues to date. 4 out of 5 means good, even very good, but food not quite 'excellent'. I am happy to go back though. Beware.... Chili paneer could be dangerous to bottom health.

Before I leave this review may I add that I have sent the following letter to Raj Darbar's contact email address and have received no reply. I was willing to negotiate however with no reply from the management what more can I do. Maybe now I will get a response? For the attention of the manager.Order Number: 174644504Dear Sir/Madame,On 12th July at 21:09 I ordered a takeaway from your restaurant; unfortunately the delivery did not arrive until 22:20 - leaving us waiting an hour and ten minutes, I did received a call from the restaurant at 21:57 to inform me that their was a slight delay but was informed that the food would be with us in ten minutes, however it arrived 23 minutes later! I live 10 minutes from the restaurant so I am flabbergasted that it took that long. When the food arrived the Chicken Korma was lukewarm, the breadcrumbs that the king prawn butterfly was covered in were over cooked, resulting in it tasting like burnt toast and certainly not worth £7.90. The oil that the Onion Bhaji’s were cooked in had soaked through the two brown bags that they had been put in; leaving the contents of the takeaway greasy. The Poppadom’s were soggy - may I add that most Indian restaurants give Poppadom’s and the appropriate condiments to customers free for orders over £20, I have never had to pay for them from any other restaurant, so under the circumstances I would expect them to be edible. Overall it was a very unsatisfying meal, leaving my partner and I still hungry. As this was the first time I have ordered with you I am very disappointed with the level of service I received from your premises, as a result I would like a full refund of £26.45 to my card that I paid with online.Yours faithfully,Katie Cook

“Fantastic Lamb Chops!”5 of 5 starsReviewed 01/08/2013Ordered lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. Very juicy, tasty and full of authentic flavours. Prices here are very good, very reasonably priced. I have gone to other top restaurants, paid a lot more and hadn't had as good food as I had got here. I highly recommend coming here. DaveFANTASTIC AGAIN23/12/2013 The dhall was fantastic and so was the bhindi bhaji and a lamb and chillie dish. The poppadoms were incredibly crispy and thin. Dave
