·

Great traditional curry house. Delicious food. Good staff. Reasonable prices

Lovely food. All the dishes you can imagine and even off-menu ones if you ask nicely. Great neighbourly feel and great service. Hope that we can go there again to eat out rather than takeaway. The interiors could do with an update and maybe a brighter happier interior that matches the food and the people.

You will not find a better Curry in a 40 mile radius.Food: Outstanding - fresh, flavoursome and hearty portionsService: They appreciate your custom, always go above and beyond, they are professional and punctualPrice: They could actually charge a lot more. I feel it’s too cheap for what they are a doing.

Food average to good but let down by a slightly rude staff member who didn't want to bring fresh cutlery to the table after the starter and almost argued with us about it. Eventually they rather reluctantly agreed to bring a clean knife after they dropped it onto the table. I'd still return because the food is better than the other Indian restaurant in Old Amersham.

New to the area and have tried a couple of other tandoori restaurants, none excite me with their flavours and find them bland. This little gem in Old Amersham. I had Hyderabadi lamb, it was fantastic. Not a single morsel left. Will be returning again and again. Friendly staff and free beer with takeaways over £20. Such great prices and attentive waiters.

Affordable pricing. The service and the presentation is great. I wish I could say the same about the food. Very far from authentic Indian food. Soggy chapattis, Chicken Jalfrezi overloaded with Turmeric and very tiny portion of undercooked onion bhajji was something I got.

·

Absolutely fantastic. Delicious food, lovely people, came here on 3/4 for nights in town and regretted the one night elsewhere.

Been going here now for 17 years, same people running it still. Discovered it after returning from my first trip to India, and lamenting the lack of decent Indian food in the UK. I need not have worried. Food consistently the best available in the area by far, great choice for veggies (I became one 2 years ago, and do miss some of their amazing meat dishes, especially the lamb shank!). Superb value and everything freshly prepared. There is no better place to have a great Indian meal. Friendly but unpretentious. Strong recommended.
