Pretty pub and the family running it clearly care. Good menu daily specials and a coffee maker. Worked for me 🙂

Went for dinner this evening, Darcy and all the staff were very warm and friendly. Food was excellent and a fantastic portion for the price!

Absolutely wonderful place to wine and dine. Fantastic experience with a wide range and variety of foods. Brilliant service very clean and tidy. Friendly staff that welcome you with open arms. Even the locals are just as friendly. Would I visit here again?. Definitely it would be rude not too. Thank you for given me a very enjoyable visit

Had the salmon & dill fish cakes and a pint of Abbot Ale and it was delicious. The salad was generous, well-dressed, very fresh and contained a variety of ingredients. Pub salads are not usually like this! I was very impressed. Also the beer was fresh and well kept. When I’m next in the area I’ll definitely be back.

Came here for a sandwich lunch. Good size portion with chips, homemade coleslaw and salad. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Lots of parking at rear. Abbotts ale on tap. Marvellous. Would come again.

Really nice pub, inside and out. Apparently the breakfasts and Sunday roast are very good so will be returning to find out

Just called in for a quick drink. The beer and service was good and the atmosphere was welcoming.However, after 2 pints I was pleased to leave! The barmaid had such a screeching laugh - it made me jump everything. It was very unpleasant! The young guys at the bar seemed to enjoy it though!

Loved it a great place for a Sunday meal, a friendly relaxed atmosphere and felt like an old school pub.

Great lunch, excellent friendly service, but a bit lacking in ales..
