The Drawingroom in Chiltern

We had the most amazing evening last night at the Drawing Rooms. We’re having a weekend away in Chesham and had stumbled upon this place. Didn’t really know what to expect but what a find. You step off the high street to enter what feels like a different world. Greeted by Richard (who is just the nicest guy you could wish to meet) and we could just tell we were in for a special evening. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a place like it. Great food, brilliant music, a great atmosphere and a whole lot of fun in a chilled out welcoming environment. Just amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back as soon as we can. Was walking down the high street on our first night in the area, heard a great singer and thought that’s live music too..upon investigation noticed this little goldmine.Great venueWelcoming owner (Richard) made myself and partner welcome and even noticed there was an open fire.The menu was very short but the food was amazingGreat night will be back soonD&J

Food and drink quality makes this a must. Coffee blend well balanced. The choc brownie comes warm, none of this long life stuff from other coffee shops. Breakfast portion size good. This is a place to take your time in.

Loved it, my first visit and real live band in three years. Looking forward to seeing who's playing next 👍

Private wedding party to be had.. wow what a place.. tucked away in the main high street.. quirky vibe with a touch of excellence. Brill service & tailed made for all to enjoy .. I will go back again for another experience for sure ..

Beautiful front courtyard, it was raining hard at the time and there was plenty of cover. We had the veggie kebab which was delicious. Very generous pot of tea, and milkshakes was tasty and a great price. 10/10 highly recommend. Friendly staff too!

I can only describe it as a wonderful retreat with a calm and relaxed atmosphere that feels like a balm after a busy day.Richard is a delightful host, making you feel at home from the very first minute.The food is absolutely superb!

Had a very tasty carrot cake in this most beautiful and welcoming coffee and tea shop in Chesham.

I stumbled across The Drawing Room while wondering through Chesham. I saw the log burner gently puffing out smoke and fancying a coffee I stumbled in through the doors. What awaits you is an Aladdins cave of wonder- lovely art, a warm homely atmosphere, a TV playing the music from the recorded gigs on Saturday night, Tibetan singing bowls, a full gin bar and tapas menu and Richard, one of the most wonderful and hospitable human beings that you can meet. Richard spent time talking, giving me the tour of the music venue, showing me the brilliant acts they have had on Saturday nights on his TV and talking through some of the homemade foods they have on offer. He is a lovely guy and he has some good stories and history to tell. The Drawing Room is a must on a stop through Chesham and it's one of my best ever finds. Thanks to Richard and the staff for being so fantastic.

Excellent food and even more excellent selection of cakes. Quirky place - feels like you're stopping by your cool hippy friend's place for a bite. Wholesome, delicious food and reasonably priced. Also plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options (including the cakes.... THIS IS NOT A DRILL: ALL OF THE CAKES ARE GLUTEN FREE). We stopped here at the end of our Chess Valley walk and the owner was relaxed about our muddy boots - we just took them off to use the bathroom upstairs.... Like you'd do at your friend's house.
