Excellent food freshly prepared. And not at all expensive. The building needs freshening up but the service is friendly. All round a good place to eat.

Brilliant lunch at The Eagle. Genuinely best roast I've had in ages! Roast beef was superb as were the roasties, Yorkshire and particularly the massive chunk of braised cabbage. The service was also great. We were only visiting but I reckon I'd make the Eagle my local if I lived here.

Great fresh and tasty food. Lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff. Great with Kids too. Had a lovely lunch here today, and as the pub backs on to a playing field, was able to take the kids across too.

Such a friendly and amazing pub. On the beautiful Broadway Street and with a really nice garden at the back. Huge field at the back that can also be accessed directly. The food is great and served with a smile by the real friendly team. The owner himself came out and spoke to us and also told us he's got another pub at Wycombe. I look forward to visiting that on my next walk... And come here again too 🙂

Yeah cant fault the place. Has a great selection of beers on tap. Super friendly staff. Admit that the internal decor needs some attention, but see beyond this and this is a great little boozer

Nice location overlooking the cricket ground, nice setting, very friendly staff but really really overpriced food ! Although the focaccia was fresh, it had fresh pesto on it but to pay £7.00 for this one slice of bread is just too much

We had a party of three adults and three Children for Sunday lunch. The fish and chips looked good for the children and one had roast again good.My roast beef was good. The celeriac was very al dented and could have done with a little more flavour. The two waitresses did really wellIt was a nice afternoon

I love this pub. Very local as opposed to the big one up the road. Very friendly staff and good service. Food menu is not massive but good value, and has something for everyone. The beer garden is lovely, with a nice view over to the cricket pitch across the stream. Definitely worth a visit!
