The Nags Head Country Inn & Restaurant in Chiltern

Popped on from London for a Sunday roast and well worth the drive. Really tasty food, wonderful staff and sat in the garden, was perfect.

Stopped there by an incident driving local roads. Nice pub with outdoor tables and an event tent. Very friendly people working there.

The food here was stunning, I came here with a few friends and we ate in the teepee. It was very pretty, the service was great and the staff ensured there was vegan options for me. Myself and my two friends had the stuffed pepper and we all loved it!

Superb service, food and hospitality. I would highly recommend The Nags Head for a quick escape. The easy access to great country walks is an unexpected bonus. For wine lovers there is the incredible 165 vintages to choose from.

This was our first visit since the pandemic, I'm not sure if it is under new management. But the quality of the food was well below what I was expecting. Both our starters were very bland my wife's main was good but I'm afraid mine was disappointing and very salty.Very overpriced for what was on offer, shame we had had many wonderful meals there in the past. I'm afraid I would no longer recommend it.

Lovely friendly place to eat, staff were very helpful. The beef was beautiful, I don't normally eat cabbage but cooked in cream and butter (I asked how it was cooked) was delicious.🙂thank you the Nag's head.

Beautiful, historic building, and a spacious and comfortable room. The pub and dinner were truly exceptional, and the staff were uniformly lovely. Highly recommended.

A lovely pub with a really nice ‘feel’ to it. We went for Sunday lunch and the food was amazing! From the starters to the puddings, it was all incredibly tasty and probably one of the nicest roast pork dinners we’ve had! Very friendly staff and excellent service.
