Very good food good service considering there was a lot of us,large green /recreation area for children to play on safely

Lovely choice of ales, there is some stuff for children in the garden. Garden could be a bit more tidy.

Nice pub and nice selection of beers, was too early to try food out so will be back another day.

We had lunch our table was by the door to the garden very busy thoroughfare, the staff very good, the beer and lunch was ok

Lovely pub in the village of Penn Street, Amersham - in the heart of the Chilterns AONB. The food and service were excellent. This is a great place to have bite to eat before a day of walking in the surrounding woods and trails. Highly recommended.

Excellent pint or two of Tim Taylor Landlord. Food was very good and a lot of it - might skip the starter next time! Staff couldn't have been more friendly - and all finished off with a lovely roaring log fire. What more could you want in a pub. Excellent.

Lovely pub with local beers on tap. Adequate pub food in good portions for a reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ample parking. Garden area. Would go back again and again.

A lovely pub in the Chiltern Hills, overlooking the cricket pitch. Food is excellent and the staff always try to accomodate my Dad's preference for a particular spot inside. Recommend a visit all year round.

Stopped off for lunch. Great food. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Would definitely recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding!

Staff were helpful and friendly. Pub felt and looked like it would benefit from a deep clean. Food was disappointing especially as previous experiences had been so good. The burgers promised a lot on the menu but were truly awful in reality, one of our party couldn’t eat theirs. Scotch eggs were very good however.
