Charlies Breakfast and Burger Van in Crawley

Omg, I drove 20 miles to get food and we'll worth the drive! Amazing food, amazing staff sod anywhere else I would drive 300miles to eat here again. 24 hour food and loved every moment of the burger if I had the room in my belly, I would of ordered another one. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND I'LL SEE YOU AGAIN VERY SOON!

Ordered via Uber Eats. Was supposed to be delivered 30-40 minutes. It was almost 90 minutes. Veggie burger was advertised as with cheese and garnish - no cheese or garnish came with it. Won’t be re-ordering

Card reader didn't work. We were asked to wait why they tried resolving the problem. It was very cold and I was with children. The food was getting cold and staff wasn't able to estimate how long we still had to wait. Eventually, they just ignored us and started serving other customers while we were just waiting. After 20 minutes I left without food as by that time it was already cold. Also, seems quite expensive. 3.30 for large chips which were not large compared to other places. Plus bad customer service. Avoid the place.

Not my normal review, but these guys have been around for decades and continue to offer a hit-the-spot burger at a sensible price. Open 24 hours, the staff are always friendly and if you are on a late night visit after a boozy evening, there’s always an entertaining bunch of peeps to get chatting with ;-)

This place is legendary in Crawley for a reason - never disappoints, and always cooked fresh to order. Kept going through the pandemic and never missed a beat. Staff are fabulous and friendly.

Having recently discovered that Charlie's is open 24 hours a day, I have called on my way home from work (middle of the night). I have arrived and ordered to watch my order cooked fresh in front of me, and I have at times called ahead to have my food ready for my arrival. Each time I have been extremely pleased with my food and the service in general.

Always excellent. Great menu, great food, friendly service. I get up 30 minutes early on a Saturday and drive out of my way to go here. Puts me good mood before work!

Pros - Really friendly service and very quick. Had all items on the menu and took card paymentsCons - Ordered the BLT and it only came with two slices of bacon, not enough in my books. Plus the bread was under cooked. I am more than happy to pay £5.50 or even more for a quality meal but this wasn't it. I think if the quality & quantity improved they would have my repeat business. At the moment feel like that was my first and only try.
