Coaching halt in Crawley

Great service today and Chelsea was amazing with us and our son. Sons food came out on a hot plate so they happily went and got a cold one so he wouldn't burn himself and our food was delicious. Very quick service and served with a smile. Very welcoming. Definitely will be going back.

Rachel and the team went above & beyond to ensure we had an amazing evening. Despite being very busy, the food and service were both excellent.We've visited a couple of times with our little boy now and he loves the attention and interaction he gets from the team.It can be daunting going out for a meal with a toddler but we know we can visit the Coaching Halt and feel completely at ease.

The restaurant is very comfortable welcoming and has a great atmosphere. We were greeted by the lovely Rachel who took our orders and served. They were very short staffed but managed superbly well. We didn't have to wait long before our meals arrived, piping hot and delicious

Have already recommended the coaching halt to two friends I met walking my dogs this morning as I was so impressed.I visited for early dinner with two friends and we were very impressed. We were met by a very polite young man who showed us to our table then left us to view the menus after taking our drinks order. We didn’t feel rushed at all and found all staff including the landlady to be very friendly, welcoming and polite. My friends ordered fish & chips which looked delicious and they said they were very tasty. I had the chicken pie which was also very tasty. I often find pub chips to be a bit dry but my chips here were really good, not too dry but also not greasy.I will definitely be returning very soon and recommending to friends and family. Can’t believe I’ve not been here more often considering it’s on my doorstep.I would definitely recommend booking though as it was very busy when we were leaving. It’s lovely to see they are getting it right in there and it’s becoming very popular.

Had another fantastic meal at the coaching halt this evening. As always the team were very welcoming. Service was quick and food was excellent. To top off the great meal, they now have (after a little wait 😉) a cinnamon roll bread and butter pudding. Amazing dessert. Hurry, before they’re all gone - thanks coaching halt

Very welcoming. Had not booked in advance, but wasn't an issue. Lovely lady showed us to an area & we could choose what table we wanted. Very efficient with taking our drinks & food order, & had informed us of the meals that were out of stock. Food was very tasty... & very filling, which meant we had no room for dessert!! Amazing value for money.

It is a well located and well organised building, it is airy and spacious. The staff were gracious and professional. It is perfect for meetings I don't think there was any music playing so it was easy to talk and you were far enough away from anyone else not to have to wonder if you were being overheard or intruding on them. The food was adequate, well done, portion size was decent, and really good value. I personally feel it suffered from a lack of adventure, but it seems to be targeted at wide appeal and I think it achieved that. I would definitely go there again.

What a lovely experience tonight was although it got pretty busy and there was a wait on food we were informed from the moment we walked in and kept informed throughout our visit lovely atmosphere friendly and welcoming staff food was perfect will definitely be recommending added bonus of 30% off mains this evening. Thanks to all the staff perfect evening with family and friends.

We had such a fabulous evening at the coaching halt for New Year’s Eve.They had put on a Live Band and Buffet evening and it was just perfect for our family. The girls loved getting up to dance to the band including our 1 year old.The buffet was continuously kept refreshed and the food variety was great!We had such a lovely evening and can’t recommend enough.The Bar staff were so friendly and made such an effort with our children it was the perfect New years eve for us thank you so much coaching halt.Jemma burns

Visit this pub early June. Its very convenient as it just next to our storage. It is lovely pub good location just off the motorway.food was good and the staff were lovely, however he kept forget to bring us glass for our beer 😅. Maybe because its busy sunny afternoon and he in-charge for the outdoor area alone. We love the way they serve especially considering all the guidelines they have to abide by.Scallope was good and pie as well. We will try again another menu during dinner as indoor area look good and safe during the current situation.
