Fish Plaice in Crawley

I Enjoyed my peice of fish here , i ordered large although others may have thought it a medium.Chips where okay but did not seem like they had just come out fresh unfortunately.Savaloy was just taken out from under the light but was not freshly heated .An onion and a 500ml bottle of coke.£17.60 spent in total for lunch.At this price everything should be served fresh , but i think for crawley this is still more expensive than other competitors.

Staff members mess your order up when you repeat to them 3times the order they say they will send the rest of your order out and then 25minutes later you call back and they say no unless you pay for the rest of it even though there staff messed up! Never again ordering from here!!

Large chips £3.50, asked for it seperate but ignored and put it with the cod in same box, worked out as a small portion at best, they have done this on two other previous occasions despite request. Large cod @ £10 is overpriced, the size is medium at best compared to other local shops, Overcooked batter was hard, fish inside was dry surprising as the chips are so soggy and bareley room temperature. They are very inconsistent which is a shame as they always delivered promptly. Have given the benefeit of the doubt with letdowns on previous orders but three times in a row very dissapointed with the quality and portions.

Eat your cod slowly and carefully had these two big bones in mine, standards have gone down since the pandemic as seen in other reviews

UPDATE: This place used to be decent years ago but the last couple of years it's good awful. Don't bother ordering from here. Kebabs have a really weird after taste to them, curry sauce is water, chips are obviously cooked in old oil. Only edible thing was the savaloy. Only giving it two stars as the portion is fair but please order from somewhere else if you want a nice dinner!Good price and good quality of good. Have been going here for a couple of years now and nine times out of ten we're happy. Shame the don't deliver to crawley down when other takeaways on the parade do.

Went to order and found staff so unhelpful its as if they didnt want anyone in there. Were only interested in talking among themselves.The chips had all the crunchy bits from the bottom. There were no actual soft chips. Saveloy was so dry and hard. Didnt bend like saveloys normally do. Chicken was overcooked and so dry was unable to eat it.The staff were so rude. Defo wont go there again. A complete waste of money

This has been the only place for decent fish and chips on Just Eat for years and we have ordered here numerous times. I can only assume it's changed hands as tonight we spent £48.00 on slop! Average chips at best, soggy, greasy fish and fried chicken not fit for my dog. The chips lately are very bad 👎 i don't recommend this place anymore 😕 it used to be a decent place . The cod is filled with oil .

Don't recommend buying fish and chips. The fish was too burnt and the chips were soggy and stale as if left too long on the side. Use to be good but now it's awful.
