Poor menu selection and high prices. Really unimpressed with this place considering it's the main restaurant in the Hilton. The restaurant is dated and service is slow. The menus were old and scruffy (and sticky in places!) Which is a pet hate of mine especially when the restaurant is charging such high prices. Unfortunately there isnt a lot of selection to choose from outside the hotel. Honestly, I'd try and find somewhere else to eat if you can.

I really liked this buffet a lot. It had everything I wanted for a last nights meal in England before I had to go back to the US the next morning. They had a good salad bar, soup, beef, cod, tasty veggies and delicious desserts. Everyone in my family was happy. If you're staying over night in the hotel theres no reason to go farther. Enjoy!

£26 per person for a buffet where there were 3 options: pizza, pork or curry. They called the pork a "carvery" when really all it was was some hard potatoes, veg and pork. Very limited options so I only ended up eating half of 1 plate of food, and still obviously had to pay the £26. For 2 people and 2 drinks (apple juice and a coke) the bill came to £68. Absolute rip off and even a staff member agreed it was not good and the quality had gone down but price gone up. The staff members words! Swerve!!

What most impressed me about the Garden was that the keep serving fresh food right until closing time and the kind staff that helped to bring food to our table when we requested something. We ate dinner and breakfast there after our flight was rescheduled for the next day. We didnt arrive until 22:10 but the food was still fresh and plentiful. They even continued to serve fresh food. Our child is a slow eater, but no one bothered us. The same was true in the morning, and I was impressed that we could even bring a bottle of sparkling water to our table for free. A pot of fresh coffee was also brought to us for free. As a sidenote, our aircraft carrier paid for our hotel stay and meals, but additional drinks were not supposed to be included.

The restaurant offers a buffet style help yourself food offering for £26 pp + service charge. On initial viewing there is a good variety of options however:“Hot” food kept under lights, all options at best warm or cold, pizza like rubber, pork belly tough as a boot, fish dried out, peas dry on top so dig down for fresh unshrivelled ones, pasta was ok in sauce but not hot. Starter section tried salmon and cream cheese on bread, bread was like eating flour and a very thin spread of cream cheese. Cheese board selection was ironically warmer than the mains 🙄 with the cheddar and red leicester very soft. All in all looked ok but was the worst food I have ever had, complained and was offered a £6pp discount and no service charge which i took but in fairness it wasn’t worth a penny.I understand the problems with trying to keep a buffet going for 12 hours and keeping it fresh but they seriously need to review how they are displaying and trying to keep food warm.Absolutely appalling, avoid like the plague, doesn’t deserve the 1 star i had to give them.

The food, if it really is that in the first place, tastes soooo bad. There's no other way to put this. But for £26! Yes, you read that correctly, £26! It was bad.It is so bad that I'm not even going to grace this restaurant with a review with any effort put into it - so it resembles their food more accurately.Lazy, bland and almost inedible. Oh and it'll give you a funny stomach that keeps you up all night before your 04.00am wake up call.I strongly advise people to eat before they get to the Hilton hotel.

Wide array of buffet dishes including Italian style pastas, carvery ,vegetarian options and more and the best partIt's a friendly restaurant where kids aged 10 and under eat for free with a paying adult.Garden Restaurant is located on the lower lobby floorCan t give 10 stars )))

Staff were very friendly but over priced for what is very average food. We had the all you can eat evening buffet. Main courses reminded me of school meals and definately not worth the money they were asking.

Nice enough buffet. Good, varied salad station, choice of several mains and sides (mains on the day I was there were baked fish fillets, chicken curry, beef stew, roast gammon, and baked cannelloni). Selection of five or 6 deserts as well as cheese and fruit. So it was fine. BUT I wasn't paying (cancelled flight), if I were paying 26 pounds (which I think is what the cost is) I'd expect a bit more quality.

My husband and I had dinner in the hotel, I wish we had chosen the bar or a la carte restaurant instead of the garden restaurant which is casual dining. There was a communication barrier with our waitress who asked us about 5-6 times to repeat what we wanted then got grumpy at us!The only veggie dish on the menu had pesto with Parmesan in it which isn't veggie and Parmesan on the top, I asked for mine not to but it came with Parmesan grated on top and then again the waitress grumped and said, we'll the kitchen is busy!So my husband ate his dinner whilst I waited on a fresh plate being made, then I ate mine. Not great quality and when the waitress asked how it was I said it wasn't good and her reply was, well it wouldn't be without pesto or Parmesan!Come on Hilton, you can do better than this. They didn't charge us for the bread basket, but did put 10% gratuity on the bill.
