By far the best Chicken Dum Pukht Biryani (Lucknow style preparation) I have had in UK. The restaurant staff were polite and attentive. Food was delicious, succulent tender chicken with the right amount of spices and not overuse of cardamom. Sweet Lassi was amazing too!! I will highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Crawley.

First time I've been here in over 20 years, so it's fair to say it's a successful restaurant! They have a vegan menu which is a good step. The food is excellent we had the taster menu, and the main course was enormous, and very tasty. I like that the drinks menu has reasonably priced wines, and a good selection. Waiters are efficient, and recognised very quickly corrected a mistake when we got the wrong bill. The reason I didn't give it five stars is two fold: 1) the cutlery! Please ditch those awful knives, they are awful to hold, and fall over all the time. 2) the noise. So much could be done to reduce it - wall and ceiling covers are not expensive, but would do such much to enhance the dining experience. I hate shouting across a table, and I hate hearing what's going on at other tables, because they're having to shout, too. To sum up: excellent food and wine, not so good the environment to eat it in.

Our first experience this evening and an excellent one. Very friendly and knowledgeable team who ensured our dietary requirements were taken care of. The vegan menu was a delight with wonderful authentic flavours, so nice to have a range of options rather than just one vegetable curry. The regular menu offers some popular favourites and some specials all of which we are keen to explore. The prices are also extremely reasonable. Excellent and would highly recommend this great find to all who love an authentic taste of Indian cuisine.

Amazing food and great customer service. Went there for a evening meal with my wife and the staff were super friendly. I would recommend the biryani, and the king prawn dishes. I came here from a recommendation after I was told it’s much better than your average Curry house. would definitely visit again.

The best fine dining restaurant in Crawley. They really take pride in cooking up some delicious and unique Indian food you’ll only find at Zari. This makes them a strong contender for the possibly the best Indian cuisine in West Sussex. You’ll not only love the fancy dishes, curry’s and grilled food on the menu but the wonderful service and atmosphere will make you visit again for more. A well deserved 5 stars from me, I would recommend it as an ideal place for a romantic date night for couples and a family friendly restaurant perfect for celebrating a special occasion.However, if you’re anything like me you’ll find yourself dining here every time you’re just craving a really good curry that hits the spot. 🙌

I went to Brighton for the day, and on the way back we discovered this gem. It is by far the best Indian restaurant in Crawley. The food and service is quality. I will definitely be going back :DThank you for a great evening Zari.

Zari is my favourite Indian restaurant in the Crawley area. The food is delicious with a wide range of choice. The service is excellent with the staff being extremely friendly - as a regular you will be remembered by name. The business is also highly adaptable - eating in the restaurant I enjoy meals for two, medium sized groups for birthdays etc. and arrange set dinners for the rugby team I coach. I have even arranged a takeaway for over 60 people for a workplace event.

We had an excellent meal at Zari. They accommodated a large family group and provided us with a delicious range of food to serve the different tastes and dietary requirements of our group. The biryani dishes went down particularly well with us! The Zari team was also accommodating for the very young children in our group. We'll definitely be coming back!

Really great food! Was very quiet on a Sunday evening so was missing a bit of atmosphere. The meal was fantastic!
