Nando's Gatwick - Airside in Crawley

Yes, the wait might be almost an hour. Yes, they are understaffed . But isn’t it better to control the crowd so the few staff they have can do their job with a smile on their face . I sat and watched loads of people moan and complain and be unbelievably rude to the lady doing the door . She was patient and kind , but there are the people who would poke their heads in saying “look at all those empty tables , this is ridiculous “ Like it’s her fault! . Post pandemic most places are struggling to get employees. Imagine if the policy was , pack in the people , take their money who cares about how long they wait for food or the quality of food and service . Wouldn’t that be worse . ?Friendly staff, lovely food as always , and a well thought out interim plan as far as i can see .If you don’t have enough time , then don’t stress yourself or other people out by going . If you do have time … it’s worth the wait.

After 1 hour queue, we ordered the quinoa and feta salad, we've got a lettuce salad with sause. Not recommended at all.

Sooo good. Got me ready for my holiday. Had to leave my number for the waiting list but got a text msg half an hour later saying seat is ready. Great service and food. Definitely worth a visit if you are at London Gatwick Airport. Thank you

A hidden gem in Gatwick airport.With the bank holiday our flight was delayed 4 hours - we were able to spend the majority of it in the relative calm of nandos.There was a 2 hour wait to enter which was also very efficient as we didn't have to stand in line and instead were texted when there was a table free. The wait went by much quicker than they'd said and once in the staff were all really great and friendly, the food delicious and the vibe relaxed.Yes there are empty tables but that just shows the staff know what they're capable of in terms of staffing numbers/being able to serve people quickly and efficiently, so no complaints there.Also the pints were cheaper than in central London5 stars thank you!!

Ordered a sunset burger, the meat looked grey and was kinda slimy in texture.Corn wasn't the freshest but the chips were good.Fast service, however and staff were professional.

Egle was seriously amazing in helping my wife, six-month old daughter and me. So great to run into someone caring like her in a busy airport setting. Wait was 45 minutes but my wife needed to breastfeed. She helped us get our takeout and sit in a secluded corner so she could do so in peace. Great service from Egle!

Food was ok, but staff was really rude. We had a lunch in Nando’s and then ordered beers, manager came to us and asked to get out because we are not eating and Nando’s is not a pub to drink in there. (However we just finished our food)Unacceptable behaviour from manager!Wouldn’t come back 😢

This is my go to food option whenever I am at Gatwick airport. The food is always delicious! The chicken is my favorite. The restaurant is clean and cozy. Service is fast and there are departure boards so you can keep track of your flight.
