This was our first time at Smith&Western Tilgate and we were really impressed Atmosphere is sooo calm and friendly just did not want to leave.Service so sooo good and food sooo fresh and yummy.Love this place would definetly be back soooooooon

If You are looking a place with great food, nice atmosphere and what will be family friendly,this is your place. First great thing, staff members, really friendly, advice You what to take, if You don't know what You fancy and service - 6+ starts. Second, food is amazing, steak perfectly grilled, ribs smooth and You can feel taste Louisiana basically. For kids we have taken nuggets with chips, soo good chips, plus with kid's meal free dessert - amazing. Size of the meals - massive 😱. Prices, so big board with grilled 6oz steak, chicken, ribs, corn and coleslaw - £24.99, fajita (also massive!!) £19.49, kid's meal £9.99. Great job Guys👌👏we are coming back for sure!!

Really excellent restaurant experience all round. Food is delicious, large portions in a true American style. As they say if you haven't had the Nachos, you haven't been to Smith & Western

Went here with a work group for a bit of fun and meal for 12 of us. Phil (our waiter), was just absolutely superb at his job. I'm still in shock but the guy remembered all 12 orders (including drinks) without making a single note. Incredible party trick. He managed to do all that and do it with some brilliant humour too. In addition to that, the food was amazing! Thanks for a great night.

Staff seemed to be friendly but when we asked for our drinks for the second time one of the staff simply said “we are busy but they will come” but the restaurant was 40% full - so not busy!Overall good restaurant and good value.

We’ve been to Shith&Western couple of times. Everything was amazing . Great localisation, such a nice food, lovely drinks, and very nice waitresses. This is perfect place for family dinner and for friends drinks night. We absolutely enjoyed every minute. This place is also dogs friendly 😊

My partner took me here for a surprise, which makes life difficult as I don't carry my allergy meds with me.I was nervous about what foods I could eat as menus only list the 14 allergens listed as concern by the government. My allergy does not fit the list as I have a pepper allergy, this covers chilli peppers, Bell peppers, paprika, chilli Flakes, black pepper white pepper, all pepper dirivitives.Our server spoke to the kitchen about my allergies and came back to tell me due to my allergies he was going to send his manager over.After chatting with Luke, I was put at ease, I explained all and he totally understood my apprehension as he too suffered anyphalaxis due to a food allergy. He asked me what I wanted and said he would speak to the chef and see what they could do.They were great I could have what I wanted no missing out, as the chef would make my ribs plain without glaze, they provided a sauce in a pot on the side.Luke was also on hand with antihistamine if I needed.I cannot fault the service. I have never been to a restaurant unprepared and the restaurant put me at ease and go above and beyond to cater for my needs.I will definately be recommending the restaurant to my family and friends. I also look forward to return visits.I can't express how thankful I am to all the staff, but especially Luke and the chef.

Absolutely loved our first ever s&w experience! Family of 5 catered for. South African waiter was absolutely brilliant. Couldn't fault the service.

We had a great evening here a few weeks ago. We were seated in the Jail section which made the evening all that more immersive, only down side was the seating is quite tight but once your say down is fine. The staff were attentive and friendly and made the evening enjoyable.We knew that S&W was on the higher end price wise for local restaurants but we found the 'Ranchers Feast' good value in comparison. Reason for 4* is the ribs weren't as good as I remember but all in all a great evening. Highly recommend!!
