The Downsman in Crawley

Great pub, with lovely landlords! shame about the food, we waited over an hour for our starters, only to be disappointed with them, esp the Momos, do not order them, tasted like something out of a jar.

Nice pub, good for sport and nice food.

Amazing Food and amazing service. Kaz and the team catered for me birthday meal and it was absolutely great. The food was really tasty. Curry’s as good as you’d get in an Indian restaurant . (And the Crispy chicken wings - unreal) :) Good choice of Drinks and great atmosphere with a live band. There were 17 of us all eating at once and all the food got served together . Many thanks for a great night .

Good place to have some good beer, music, sports and pretty decent Indian dishes. Tasty food and good service. Had to reduce 1 star for bringing main course before starters :) , worth a visit.

really nice friendly pub! hence the 3 stars,BUT the food wasnt very nice, the madras tasted very sweet! if someone told me the sauce came out of a jar id believe them! one of their regulars also said the food goes into a microwave which I also believe! as the food arrived far so quick! wirhib 10 minutes of ordering it) Sorry to disappoint but I'm being honest! 🎄

This one is a good laid back old style pub .... it has a nice indoor as well as outdoor sitting .... the pub serves variety of good ales on the tap and the food is great .... I tried the Indian food which was very good... the pub also has screens so you can enjoy ya favourite game while enjoying ya drink ... it has a pool table and couple of gaming machines too

Fantastic food! I had the Prawn Korma, veg rice, & peshwari Naan. Was lush! Weird starter thing I ordered wasnt to my liking but everyone else liked it. The overall consensus was that everything was above par. We ate until we were full, then we ate some more. Then picked at more until we couldn't move any more and the nice man came and took our plates away. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
