The Hawth Park Inn Harvester in Crawley

Went in for dinner, was sat down left for 30 mins then told they couldn't serve as they had a gas leak. I'm totally fine with things happening but when asked further questions, we found out they knew they had a gas leak when they sat us down.I feel with a gas leak NO ONE should be in the restaurant and that they only sat us down to get the money for our drinks

You know what you're going to get at a Harvester so there's not much point reviewing the food. It's fine. Staff here were very friendly, and food orders were taken and delivered quickly and efficiently - but no one asked about drinks, so we only had one whereas we might've liked another. I know it's probably a Covid thing, but having to have someone serve you at the 'help yourself' salad bar takes all the fun out of it and creates extra queuing.

Went for what we thought was going to be lunch here with my six year old son. Ordered drinks a kids pasta meal and myself the gammon. Drinks came and nothing else had been waiting over an hour for simple, quick food absolute joke asked were our food was got told it would be 5 minutes 15 minutes later still no food. So asked for the bill and tried to charge me for food I hadn’t even had let alone seen. Still got charged for a salad from the salad bar though. Wasn’t busy and managers and waiters just standing around. If they paid as much attention to chatting and standing around as they did there customers and there orders then maybe they would get there food. Appalling and diabolical service. Manager went on till to sort out drinks didn’t even ask why we weren’t staying or what the problem was. Shocking customer service take your business elsewhere

Service would be better if one member of staff waited on you instead of several. Salad bar seems to now reduced in its selection. I have been here a couple of times now and would say I was not overly impressed by the service or the quality of the food.

Had a wonderful service. Food is very good and our waitress Jessica B couldn't have made our visit any more lovely if she tried. Always had a smile on her face and very helpful. She needs a pay rise and promotion.

Was very disappointed with the breakfast here on the 23rd of Jan. the waiter was a lovely young man, very helpful however the breakfast was officially the worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. The scrambled eggs were full of milk, hashbrowns we’re low quality and very oily, the oil used smelt cheap as well. My veggie sausages were burnt! Yes burnt, they were black at the top I actually just cut the burnt bits off and thought let me just try to eat the inside but but they were the worse veggie sausages I’ve ever had. My tomato was half a tomato not even a whole one, and the green stalk was on it! It was not even cooked either it was actually raw and just browned on top! Not even edible. My beans! Omg they gave me 3 tablespoons of beans in a small metal cap pot. Literally 3 table spoons of beans maybe if that! How much do beans cost?? Nothing! They cost nothing! Never have I been given a tiny tiny pot of beans with my breakfast. The mushrooms were small and cheap, not your usual big breakfast mushrooms nor were they baby ones. They looked very black and dry and I couldn’t even finish one (there was only two anyway). I was extremely hungry, had taken my medicine so I needed to eat but I had to return the foot back after having 2 bites. The waiter kindly refunded my meal but my friend was too embarrassed to say he hated his as well. Pineapple juice was nice. Really disappointed at the chef as the service is lovely here.

Went for Christmas lunch with a friend as we were both on our own for the day. Couldn't fault the staff and the meal. Staff were attentive and friendly, without 'hovering', food was plentiful and well cooked. All in all well worth 5/5.

Well we visited for my mums birthday and couldn't have been treated any better!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Melvin who served us was great (big 5 stars for him), he was attentive and couldn't do enough to help. The food was DELICIOUS and was very well presented! Good sized portions (especially the dessert 🍨). Service was quick and we even got a cheeky photo with Scarlett Moffat 😀. WOULD 100% RECOMMEND and will definitely be going back. 👌

WINNER OF MOST STUPID COVID RULE!! Harvester take the prize for the most ridiculous covid rule with their self-service salad policy. Despite hundreds of buffets across the country now open with normal service, Harvester are not allowing guests to get their own salad. Instead you stand at the salad bar and tell a waiter what you would like - this waiter is not wearing any gloves or face covering and is touching more surfaces than any guest! If anything this makes it worse and more dangerous to spreading covid! Oh but don't worry, everyone is welcome to get their own refillable drinks! Whoever comes up with this rules needs their head looked at!Decent enough service on our visit there today as a party of six though, effecient and friendly waiting staff with fresh food which was well cooked and delicious!

I love eating in Harvester. This is the best place to eat Full English breakfast unlimited for £9.49 anywhere in UK. Food tasted really good.Toast, Hash browns, fried eggs, beans, mushrooms and orange juice. I ordered extra and ate double of everything. The COVID restrictions made a little difference with service but they did a table service for us. Only thing I didn’t like was the vegan sausages. Hot beverages are provided as well.Restaurant is really clean and staff is so friendly. Parking is available and can stay up to 3 hours. Would recommend everyone to try the best English breakfast in town.
