Our first visit to this pub and first of all huge thanks and praise to the wonderful waitress who looked after us so well. Ideal for us as it was relatively quiet though it did get busy as the afternoon went on - generous portions of the pub lunch, enjoyed the beer and great surroundings and above all great service. Thank you! Annette and Chris

Absolutely awful. I stopped by to see my friends, after being in the gym. Got absolutely screamed at for not having my ID with me, even though I went in for 1 second and i’m 20! I wasn’t planning on drinking. Definitely not planning on going back either. Customer service is absolutely awful. Never had someone scream in my face for such a reason.

Lovely "Proper pub". None of your corporate chain nonsense. Cosy nooks, open fires, no music, amazing pies (seriously) and friendly service. Nice garden with great views also.
