So I have read a few of the reviews on here and I am sorry for those who had a bad experience, however, my husband and I were very impressed, we had pre booked our table, were seated immediately and within 2 minutes had ordered our drinks and food. Our night got better and better, I was observing all of the staff during the course of our meal, everyone worked well together, giving a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. A big thankyou to each and everyone for making our visit nice, especially Bryn he was very tentative.Keep up the good work and a big thankyou to you all.

Service was poor and slow, understandable as busy however we were rushed to eat starter and main. Received drinks only after chasing them and even then we had already finished starters. Ordered steak as rare but received it raw, tough and frankly inedible. When our table was eventually cleared we didnt even get the chance to complain as no checkback was done during or after our meal. I ate a single mushroom and a tomato, the sauce pot for peppercorn sauce came out hotter than the actual food! service at the bar was no better as I was asked for ID(understandably) and then my server was approached by another member of staff and asked obviously in front of my face in a rude manner "have you ID'd her?!". hotel room is lovely, would strongly advise not stepping in the facilities until waiters and servers have had more training in their customer service. shocking.

This is nota standard Premier Inn restaurant. Why you might wonder? It’s the staff! They are a close team that work their socks off and make the dining experience really good. I would like to thank them all especially Alex who deserves 11/10.

The team were really friendly and although there was clearly an attempt to up-sell throughout it was done in a gentle way. Everything else (food, drink, decor, price) was "okay". It's convenient if you're staying in the Premiere Inn and although inevitably there would be a better experience elsewhere if you've got an early flight and just want some edible food before heading off to bed it's okay. In future I'd probably get something delivered to the room though deliveroo. 3 mains and drinks cost us about £45 and that would have likely got a nicer meal and good bottle of wine delivered.

Food was ok but very expensive and small portions, wouldn't have dinner here again

Arrived at our reservation time & were seated promptly & that is all they did right! Waiter took out order, our drinks arrived a few minutes later & then the waiting game began!!!!! 10minutes no starter, 20 minutes no starter....43 minutes later our 1 sharing platter of food arrived! 43 minutes to put 4 onion rings, 3 small chicken drumsticks, 2 chicken kebabs & 3 lamb kebabs on a plate with some dip! By this point we were starving so ate the food & then began the waiting game part 2! 25 minutes later two rectangular plates emerged with a handful of chips on them and what was meant to be a chicken breast with cheese & bacon! The chicken breast was soaked in grease, the cheese tasted like it came out a cling film packet from Tesco & the chips were.....chips! All in all it was very very disappointing & at the cost of nearly £50 was well short of value for money! I'd have gotten the same service & quality of food if I went and found a local McDonalds but atleast I wouldn't have had to wait 75 minutes to be fed!

I'm not sure how they achieved such a disgusting rubbery texture to the strip steak. It was like the beef version of a steamed chicken breast that had been sitting in a freezer for a year. Where did all the marbling that is supposed to be on a strip steak go? Everything seemed to be off, including the old bread and cheese in my salad that had clearly been slightly melted sitting out in a hot kitchen and then tossed in a refrigerator immediately to firm. The service was friendly.

Fantastic value for money here, worth coming even if you’re not flying. Food & service 10 out of 10. Lovely experience. Definitely need to book, glad we did, the queue was very long for non bookings.

Although very busy, the staff were friendly and polite. The food was well presented, good value and very tasty. Best to go for the meal deal and get even better value with a full breakfast included. There are new items on the Thyme menu and has been updated.

The only place nearby for hot food at the hotel but said they couldn't serve us as it was too busy. We should have booked but if you're a resident of the hotel you should be able to eat. Prices are typical of a captive customer base but that's to be expected
