Uncle Harry's in Crawley

Haven't had a Chinese takeaway in a long while. Everything very tasty except the salt & chicken squid was well overcooked.

Quite literally the worst Chinese ive ever had. The whole thing had a vingerary undertone and totally bland. My first time using and sadly the last. The cheek of it to be charged 40 quid for it too is an insult.

I was going to order a takeaway but when I saw the pictures I walked away. So I don't know if it is good or not. They should improve the website and display a detailed menu. Like to know what I am ordering.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls. Egg fried rice and chicken fried rice. Omg i have never had such horrible and tasteless food. No seasoning for the chicken balls. They were undercooked. The sweet and sour sauce just tasted of vinegar. The rice was also bland. When i got home i had to add seasoning to everything to give it some flavour. I gave up with the sweet and sour sauce because it was so gross. Luckily i had some bottled hoi sin which tasted a million times better. Yea i definately do not recommend and i will not be back.

Best Chinese food I ever had!!! Even after coming here for many years, it is still the best Chinese takeaway, I have ever had. Meals are made very fast and good service. I recommend coming here. 😊

First time I have used this takeaway. Sweet and sour had to much vinigar. No taste in food will not return. However was prepared in good time.

Absolutely rubbish in fact too good for the bin heated up from the day before pork you couldn't chew prawns were like solid rubber all that and barely warm ended up chucking it.....Would not even consider ever going back...

Use to be the best Chinese takeaway however the last 2 orders have been tasteless. Phoned to ask if it had new owners or new chef and was told no but had had people say the same thing!!!!! Will be ordering again.

Basically, don't ever order vegetable Singapore style noodles because it tasted of hospital food and it smelt of it too also do not order mini vegetable spring rolls there is no filling in side it no point buying it wasted my money. Should of ordered from China garden 😞 I felt sick too the next day 🤒

The Chinese food here is second to none, but ever since new management has been introduced, service has really gone down hill.When Uncle Harry was working behind the counter, one of our orders out of 6 years of ordering turned out to be incorrect. While ordering food from Uncle Harry's new management during the last two months, 50% of our orders have been either incorrect or incomplete.(I did address this problem with the elderly white gentleman working behind the counter there before writing this review.)Sadly, there are no other local Chinese restaurants to match Uncle Harry's wonderful food. But if you order from them, make sure to check your order before you go home!
