Peking Garden in Dartford

One of our favourite Chinese in Dartford. Did have a couple of wobbles as last week the noodles were burnt, the portion size are fair and the prices have gone up post covid but overall it is a good treat to have once a month etc.We normally have it delivered and they are quite honest as to how long it takes and the delivery man and the lady sometimes are very good too

Family run business for 25 years and is still here for a reason. Good food and good service. Keep up the good work guys.

Best chinese in Dartford! Would be perfect if it was on a delivery service app like Just Eat, would definitely order regularly.

Dear owner,Thanks for your response on the below review....I totally understand that you don’t allow non paying customers hence when I entered I asked your staff if I could order drinks and feed my baby & he was just rude and looked down on me. If he had said I had to order a meal I would have gladly ordered a meal for myself and the two other people who I was with....customer experience starts from the minute someone enters your premises not when they settle their bill in the end and on this occasion your staff has behaved in a way that has left a very bad experience for me and family who would have been your paying customer on the day and in the future. Also, please don’t comment on policy about other restaurants & premises as when I walked into the craft beer bar next door ...the owner who saw i was holding a very agitated infant offered me to come in ...where I and my family ordered drinks and will be going back for repeat custom. All it takes is a bit of humanity which your staff clearly lacks..“Will never order from this restaurant although we were looking to add this to our Friday night takeaways..the guy at the reception has no sense of empathy and is utter rude. I walked in with my crying infant to ask if I could order some drinks and feed my baby just to calm him down as walking home would have taken me another 20 minutes...The guy at the reception looked down on me and said I couldn’t feed my baby there as it was a “restaurant” although he could clearly see I was holding a very agitated crying infant ...just shows the kind of heartless rude people who run the restaurant....”

So they forgot our chips and the food was awful ! Portion sizes were very small and the rice wasn’t cooked properly. Wouldn’t ever go here again.

Decided to order, after living locally for several years (Friday night take-out/delivery). Thoroughly enjoyed, and will not order from anywhere else if I ‘fancy’ Chinese food.

Wow, I thought I had Covid and had lost my sense of taste... I tested myself and I was all clear.. this pelt was remarkably unpleasant, tinned food is better... good luck..

my family and I have used this restaurant many time and have always been satisfied, it was my mum favourite place for Chinese, we had a big family do there after she passed away , Sunday was the first time we been back after the lock down , we were very disappointed and the final bill was extremely high, I'm sure we won't be using it again

First time dining at this pleasant restaurant. Food was delicious and hot, staff were very pleasant. Was a relaxed atmosphere where you wasn't rushed out the door like some places. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got. Couldn't eat it all and was asked if we wanted to take the leftovers home but we didn't want to but was nice to have been asked. Will definitely be visiting again and using as out take away from now on.Only thing I could find which wasn't helpful for me is there is no disabled toilet so had to use the ladies which had no grab rails and the toilet is very low but luckily I can get round that.
