Spring River Ebbsfleet Restaurant in Dartford

Food was very good and hot, The customer service was fair, staff were friendly. The restaurant have facilities for children which my son enjoyed. However the toilets could be cleaned more regularly as they were dirty when we came and when we left and we was there for a few hours. I would recommend the restaurant to friends and family

The waitress, Destiny was lovely. The restaurant was cleaned and cleared in good time as people finished their meals. It was a lovely atmosphere inside and out. This Cavery is local to us and I'm wondering why we don't visit often enough.Came down for breakfast with the family and neighbours as they've never tried the restaurant and It was a bit hit.The staff were extremely accommodating to us being a large group and arriving an hour before the end of breakfast service. The spread was great considering how much we paid for breakfast. Adults were charged less than £10 and I believe children over 2 were charged £2.50. Now I wish I'd taken more pictures of the food that we had. The dishes were constantly topped off and you never had to call or wait for them to be done. There was Apple 🍎 and Orange 🍊 Juice available and a selection of coffee- didn't try it as I don't love coffee.Everything was delicious and we'll be coming back.Think we might do lunch or dinner soon.There's an outdoor area for you to sit of you choose and a little play area with climbing frames for children to burn off their excess energy after the big meal. The whole place is secure and you can watch the children from inside or outside.Warm family place to bring your family for a quick bite and drinks.

I came a few years ago and the experience back then wasn't the best. Very much improved the food was nice and the service was very very good. The kids love the climbing frame. Nice dishes were the coated mushrooms, cauliflower wings, mozzarella melts, the carvery was very good

This week was very busy and I bring my family to try this place this time . We order 4 burgers us you can see it in pictures we had 2 chiken and 2 beef burgers one off burger bun was over burned .food looking good . Sweet potato and regular once . Regular was bit over cooked was to crispy .beef would like to see it bit more juicy to dry . Chicken burger I would say was bet option. While staying at the Spring River Ebbsfleet Inn we ate at the pub several times. The atmosphere is like a cozy corner pub. There is a great selection of drinks. The food was delicious and I tried my first Yorkshire Pudding and shared a Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was heavenly. All the staff were friendly and hard working. Each time our waitress Debs was outstanding. She was friendly and efficient. She explained what some of the dishes were to us Americans. She checked on us often even with a busy dining room.

Had the carvery was quite nice. The meats were tasty. The only issue I had was with the roast potato's. They were oddly chewy. Don't recall ever having chewy roasts before but there you go. The Gravy was also a bit too watery for me. I love a really thick meaty gravy. I also had dessert which I don't normally do. I got the best carrot cake ever TM. I was expecting it to be tiny. It was absolutely huge which was a very pleasant surprise. Looking at the menu I would definitely like to try the burgers. I love that you can get absolutely enormous ones. I would definitely go again without hesitation. Its table service I feel like they come around regular enough for you to not feel like you need to go to the bar. The staff are also very friendly.

The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable, the staff are warm and welcoming. The lady at the front desk wasn't so friendly but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume she may have had a bad day. Our waitress Debs was wonderful. She served us with a smile and chatted in a warm friendly manner. There was 44 of us between several tables in one area (club event). The speed and efficiency of Debs and the other servers was impressive. The food was delicious, compliments to the kitchen staff. I will certainly be returning. 10 out of 10 to Debs for making us feel so welcome and comfortable and serving us with a smile. Thank you Debs.

I planned a celebration meal and initially booked for fifteen people and had to change the booking at a days notice to twenty. This was inconvenient for them but they kindly amended our details, so a huge thank you to Spring River for being so accommodating!We took a long time ordering (because of people arriving at different times) and under no pressure at all. Our waiter was extremely patient offering us drinks while we decided on what to eat. Our bill had to be split and they kindly let us pay on numerous cards and it wasn't a problem at all!The starters and main courses were great value for money, very large portions and the desserts were (without a doubt) the 'icing on the cake' 🍰🍰🍰This is our fourth family celebration here and I couldn't fault it and I wish I could award our waiter a medal 🏅 as he certainly deserved it!
