Don't order anything unless you want it 45 minutes after the latest possible estimate and stone cold

Truly a shocking Chinese ordered from there today ( a Tuesday ) due to others being shut the food was with out question old and had been boxed up and microwaved to the point the smoked chicken was a single massI would highly recommend you give this place a miss

Had take away from this restaurant twice now since moving into the area and I can honestly say it's the best chinese I have had in YEARS! The food was perfect where I could definitely see fresh ingredients have been used, having great flavour and the dishes were pipping hot. The service on both occasions was extremely good and professional. I will definitely be using this establishment again and would reccomend it to anyone who is after some decent Chinese.

To be fair, the food wasn't bad, but the reason I hadn't used this restaurant for a while was customer service issues. Tonight reminded me why.....£38 worth of food being collected and I had the cheek to ask for a pair of chopsticks to take home with my order. This was met with a "no, we used to give them away, but we don't now"...these are available from Chinese wholesalers for pennies...Not much to ask for on nearly £40 of food. I then get home and find a dish missing. I phoned and was told I could come and was offered the following options;1. Come and collect it (leaving the rest to go cold)2. We will knock it off next time (big assumption here that there will be a next time)3. We could deliver it, but it will be a while as we are busy (the 1/4 full restaurant had suggested otherwise)I plumped for option 3....an hour and a half later, I called to check on where it was, to be told they had forgotten about it....sadly I hadn't!!They subsequently sent a very pleasant delivery man to refund my £5 for the absent dish.Never again....you haven't got any better. It may seem petty, but it's the little things that make the difference. Businesses rely on customers and good reputation is built by word of mouth. Poor "management" soured our experience this evening.

Amazing food. Great service. Have taken many friends here and they have loved it and come back many times. We live 12miles away and prefer coming here. All staff are friendly and patient. 100% recommend

Had a sit down meal for the first time in years and the food was lovely with great service. Only reason I've not given 5* is that a bit of effort could be put in to make it a more 'cosy' e.g. dimming the lights, use candles etc. But hopefully won't be so long before our next visit!

Ordered mixed hor d'oeuvers tonight (meant to serve 2 people, £5.50 per person so £11.. RIPOFF!!) 2 triangles of prawn toast, 2 undercooked pancake rolls, 2 chicken satay, 2 skinny spare ribs and extremely chewy seaweed.... not only did it take 50 mins after being told 20, but bbq spare ribs being put in the same pot as satay chicken resulted in me not being able to eat any of them (being allergic to peanut sauce and the sauces combining together) ... only thing my boyfriend liked was the satays which has now sent him straight to the toilet! NEVER ordering again!!... absolutely appauled by the the lady that I spoke to on the phone just to advise her for future reference that it would help the business if they separated things. RUDE!!

Last used Taste of China years ago and this is the first time since then and will never go back. Chow Mein was greasy and slimy, rice was okay, starters were lacking sauce and overly spicy. Also had bits missing from my order and had to be passed around several people before someone finally said they'd bring it out to me.Bad service, bad taste, bad Chinese.

Just changed this from 4 stars to 1. Poor service, main course came all apart from everything I ordered. By the time I got mine everyone had nearly finished as 30 minutes had passed. The manager said that the new staff were young and were training. Not my problem, however it was because it ruined the night. No prawn crackers on the table either. No draught beer all expensive bottles or canned beer. Got my drink wrong twice as I didn't want a larger top, my friend did.As for the toilets, I honestly have never been in a more disgusting toilet. It looks like it's never been cleaned. Ceiling tiles missing, sink dirty, don't think the door handles have ever been cleaned either. How on earth this place passes food hygiene standards I'll never known. It's so run down, clearly the owner is concentrating on making money only with no investment in the place or staff.

Always used here. Won't go anyone else. However on this occasion (very rare) my 'crispy noodles' were way too crispy. They were pretty much 90% raw uncooked hard crunchy inedible noodles. I still give this restaurant 5*. But I'm not happy today.
