An empty smelly restaurant with an hours wait for a fillet steak the size of a teabag and seven chips that were kept under a heat lamp until it was nice and chewy for me all the the princely sum of £20. Topped of with the rudest most direct waitress I’ve ever met, how this chain is still in business is beyond me dilapidated restaurants and mediocre food at best.Go to the cafe much quicker and much better

What can I say… the food was outstanding! It’s a well organised restaurant and the management need a medal!Angie who’s the manager is so nice and you can tell everything ran perfectly! She’s a true assist to the brand and wish she’d could work for me!Jess our waitress was lovely and made sure everything was perfect which it was!Angie and Jess made the evening- thank you! They should be promoted and give lessons to all the other restaurants on how to run a service!Thank you again and we will definitely be back!

Was very disappointed today . The service was very slow and the Sunday Roast was just luke warm including the gravy . The plate was no even warm either. There was no one who asked us how the meal was or for us to complain to . As we waited so long we ate the food as we were hungry .Had to ask for the bill and the lady didn’t even say a word at all .Been here before a couple of time and always had great service and nice food .Very very disappointed, not sure I will go again !! .

Had a wonderful lunch here! Was greeted by Lizzy who was super friendly and helpful! Food was delicious, well sized, good price! Will be returning with the rest of the family.

I gave a rating of 3 stars because of the long wait time to get our food. Waited for more than an hour to get our mains! It was a busy Sat night but there were only 3 chefs cooking for a big restaurant that can cater for more than 50 seats. However, the food was good considering the steak was cooked to the exact doneness and the roast chicken was moist. It is similar to an American diner with lots of BBQ options to choose. The price point was spot on for the type of food served and I would give it another go on a quieter night.

Thought to treat myself after a long week. Prawn cocktail was great with chunky prawns. The lamb chops looked impoverished on the plate. Potatoes were strange and a bit hard.Dessert was not what I expected. I ordered apple & blackberry crumble but it looked liked cooked down blackberry and apple which was sprinkled with crumbles. With the vanilla icecream the taste was fine.My pictures will tell you.The serving ladies were polite and wanted to please, but I know the shortage of staff had taken its toll.Did give a tip.

Half the menu sold out, many breakfast items missing - a first in hundreds of premier in stays across the country. Waitress was terrible, meal missing several items, aswell as half the items on the menu not available.

When I hear the name Beefeater, I hear chain restaurant and that is mostly mediocre quality. First of all I was well suprised about the many different beers they have on the tap. Besides that, many bottled beers, ciders and alcohol free drinks are offered as well. I ordered the 16oz (roughly 450 grams) T-bone steak prepared medium rare and that is exactly what I got, so that's good! The side portions could be a bit more generous to be honest, but nevertheless tasty and sufficient. The sticky toffee pudding was served nice and warm with some custard sauce. I had a good experience, but I doubt ever coming back.
